Ranch production is not affected by work speed. It can only be uograded by condensing your Pals into a higher level. Also giving them the passive skills that reduces the need of food and increases their health makes them more efficient as they dont need to eat as often and thus spend more time farming. :)

im finding that a better and more efficient way is to set up a gold farm capture a merchant and then just buy the ingredients it cuts on the amount of bases you need to dedicate to cake production since you can only have 3

I only just found out the cake doesn't decay in the breeding box which is useful. I was previously only making them when I needed the cake but now I can bulk create and stick them in that box. Not sure if I will do a setup like you suggest simply because I have a ore base, one that has general stuff like stone/wood and a breeding pen/ranch and the third I haven't set up but it will be for coal or one of the places that has coal and ore.

i would suggest a base for coal and metal at same time a breeding area that makes cake and money the cat. and a sulfur base.

You could create a bunch of cooking pots that pals can't get to and use your own team pet to fire it up and leave it there, won't decay if you never collect it. Make say for example 10 in a batch and just create another cooking pot when you are ready to make 10 more.. then just go collect a finished batch when you need it. If you want to test this out for cheap, use the Baked Berries, anything crafted that decays won't start the timer until collected.

My other two bases are for resources - coal in the northern desert, quartz/metal in the frozen mountain and a temperate farm/breeding facility. Some of my first breeding projects were to make perfect chickens and cows. 2 4*, max work speed soul chikipi/mozzarina with lucky, artisan, workslave and serious completely squared away my needs for milk and eggs. I have two pens running full stop and I'm still making excess! I got very lucky and hatched a verdant egg into a bee with workslave and she's single-handedly solved my honey needs, so I don't feel the need to breed beegardes. Word of caution though - I found out that it's pretty much impossible to make a chikipi through breeding to transfer the lucky trait from another lucky pal you've got. You HAVE to find a lucky chikipi in order to do it because they're breeding "power" is too high to be produced by anything but other chickens. It's not a huge deal, it probably took me two or three in-game days flying from the plateau of beginnings to the syndicate tower, TP'ing back and running it again before I found a chikipi. Caught 4-5 other lucky beginner critters like lamball, cativa and gumoss as well.

if ur lvl 50 or closeish go for jorgblabla ignis the only lvl 4 cooking dude, otherwise crossbreed for any lvl 3 cooking to have Artisan, Work Slave, Serious and Lucky for over double work speed. then condense your duds from the breeding process (or caught ones) into main cook pal, give it some souls and you got yourself a good cooker (u can also just spread the cakes over multiple cooking pots to speed up your efficieny. or just afk for a night, like i do :)

I think for benches it would be good for the developers to add a sphere spot. Like in conan you can assign people to benches. In palworld make each bench have slots like the palbox for base, then either put them in the palbox to do automatically what they can, or put the pals in a bench for dedicated work. Still would effect how many pals are in a base so it wouldnt change many things but i feel like alot of people want pals to be able to be soley focused on one specific task, which sucks when most pals can do alot and get sidetracked.

@TheIllestBrew until you go out of render range. My server i rented, for multiplayer, if no one is on all the pals will go to the palbox and just sit, sleep on the ground or pass out. They starve themselves. Then when people log on, they immediately just go do random tasks they can after eating for 10 minutes. In the end. We probably just need a few more updates!

Because getting a pal with perfect stats takes a lot of eggs and cake. Also when cake is placed in a breeding it never spoils, so if you spend a bit of time farming a ridiculous amount, then you’ll not need to worry about cake for a good while.

Do not build here. I repeat do not build in this lokation if you have a lower end pc. I have a gaming laptop. And palworld runs smooth for me 90 percent of time even main base is smooth. But this area has god aweful lag. Every day. I roughed it out waiting for 3rd base to relocate. And im regretting it today. I logged out at this base and game crashed 3 times from lag freeze. Finaly got in and started dismantling moving places fast.

As a player trying to understand this game more my only problem with this video is you don’t show what your process of actually getting the cakes done is. What pals do you have helping cook those cakes because I know those cakes take a very long time to cook. Are u just cooking them yourself? Or is there a high level cooker that speeds it up? I see you’re level 50 and I’ve only reached level 34. This game is so extensive I haven’t yet fully checked out and read through the technology section so I’m asking from a casual standpoint. I like fusion/breeding, did that a lot in persona and ark. But here is currently not that fun, pals tend to walk away while breeding if I teleport around the world and do my things, that means I have to stay at the base. Sometimes it works, but sometimes not.

After youve assigned them to the breeding ranch, they walk away only to sleep and eat when hungry (or if there ain't cakes in the box). Maybe the species you are breeding are very hungry pals that need to go eat very often. When i used one of those land fat whales thingies to breed, i noticed it had to go eat like 6 times before it even did 1 egg. Even if annoying, he keeps in the breeding pen so you dont have to worry about that, just have enough cakes in the box and they'll keep breeding.

@@lbpjaime423 My Problem is, sometimes they don't go back to breeding pen (unassign themselves), with your information I manged to avoid that a bit, if they around 50% food it's hard to assign them to breeding again if they don't get to it by themselves, they say "no suitable work available" but if I remove them and feed it by myself, it won't happen until they are at ~50% again, maybe I should try and put something other than berries into the feeding box. i saw a lot of good buildings, where you literally lock two pals in the breeding farm and they will never get out so just keeping breeding until either foods runs out or cakes runs out. The issues that they are sometimes get out of the breeding farm is simply, because the game set farming and breeding not locked into the building but the pals are just wondering, a small chance (or if your breed farm has a part not in the base area, then it would be much higher), if they wondered out side of the base area, they will be forced teleport back and then causes them to loose their assigned job, in this case which is then farming or breeding. Similar issues exists with all other jobs too, so since the game still not providing this function, the best way to do it is just, manually separate the pals and put them into their own working zone

Bad idea. You only get three bases max. One is going to be your main base, one is probably going to be an ore base. Your third usually is a coal base. You can't get your ores flowing if you dedicate a base to nothing but bee farming. Besides, you'll never be able to use that many cakes in a day anyway. Better idea: Deploy one or two Beeguardes or even Elizabee along with your cow and your chicken in a ranch either in your main base or your ore base. You'll get *enough* honey to keep you in cake.

Theres a good spot in the North with like 8 ore and 6 coal nodes so thats a good spot for a mining base, the rest you need would only be sulfur and quartz so you can make 1 base for refined iron alone and still have 2 base slots, i would recommend using 1 base slot for breeding and just go the less efficient way since you dont really need 600 cakes an hour since breeding takes long too unless you want mutliple breeding pens to run on the same time, i currently have 2 bases a Breeding/Food base and the mentioned Coal/Iron Base and currently im searching for a spot for my 3rd base

Did you really built all the building MANUALLY, instead of summoning in 5-6 workers (like even very base Lambs) as soon as you put the central base building in? Even with 0 beds or anything...they work like 1000% faster than you when setting up a new base... Dude...comeon... (also, TBH this lvl of farming just for cakes is absurd...you need a bit ofc, but simply not this...I LOLled hard at the 2 base setup, 1 for milk and 1 for eggs!! Sure, and another one too, with like 20 cooking spots just to make the actual cakes) :DDDD

I did that however because Beegarde have so many work suitability traits they don't always stay in the ranch even when assigned, if they see a tree spawn back or something needs gathering they'll stop making honey and go do other things, they're really inconsistent when it comes to honey production, so It's best to completely remove any temptation from them to wander off.
