@@BibleTriviaQuiz_app they are completely different sounding guitars. It depends what you want. Both play great. I have never been a strat person as they only have one type of sound really, they do it really well. If you want more versatility then go for this. If you want a Strat then get a Strat.

What I find is that when you have a gain/distortion pedal between the amp and guitar, it makes the clean a lot less distorted when the pedal isn't on. I use a joyo gain pedal and a kinsman overdrive pedal and both make the clean a lot better. The reverb pedal I have doesn't make a difference though. I'm a beginner though, it's just something I noticed. And these amps seem to run a lot better off battery than the wall wart. Unless you connect a 9v battery snap on connector to a dc jack and power that way. Powering from wall wart makes a buzz. Even if you use wall wart for the pedal. This amp, for some reason hates any power coming from a wall wart. Even if it's transformed from ac to dc. Just use straight dc from the source, batteries basically.
@FretSuccess

@@indicatoker420 interesting comments. Good to know. Great little practice amp
@indicatoker420
@indicatoker420 Ай бұрын
@FretSuccess same for vox amplugs as well if you put them in a pedal. Always use batteries for the pedal. I think the buzz is caused by them being low powered things (the mini amp and vox amplugs) making them sensitive to the slight bit of ac (wall wart) creating the buzz. I find the amp great for practicing. For some reason it sounds a lot better clean with pedals. Even just a reverb pedal on low time it sounds nice. But straight from guitar to amp, not so much. It distorts and is not very playable clean. I have no idea why it goes less distorted, so I tend to use it with pedals and it's fine. My big kustom kga16r amp is a lot better.
@indicatoker420
@indicatoker420 12 күн бұрын
@FretSuccess hey man, I have come to realise that what cleans these little things up on clean, is to use a buffered bypass pedal, not true bypass. Just keep the effect inactivated but still powered by battery or dc jack.

What do you think you're doing? Have you heard of the concept of electrical faults that detune your guitar electrically? Manufacturers have been playing around with electrical signals for multiple decades by now. If you mix brands in 2020 something, you must TELL THE PUBLIC that you're from the start. Don't go misleading the public cause you're not allowed to do that. You're experimenting, but you don't realise you're experimenting. We've had to report you to the authorities for deliberately misleading the public and spam.

I use the that exact epiphone playing Neil Young songs, tone is super with a valve amp and analog delay. I can take it out after 3 or 4 days and its still tuned perfect. I actually thought it was better to stay in tune than anything I had previously. Only critisism for me is that it's a bit heavy after a while standing. Love it.
