Forward Facing Sonar helped me get my grandkids off the couch. I do stress sportsmanship when using Technology to harvest any wildlife. Game cameras has the same affect when deer hunting. We must be selective and unselfish especially around kids. I admit I still struggle to make the crappie bite even when I see them. There’s definitely a learning process to it. Thanks for sharing.

I have a LSV 32 transducer. Have trouble seeing my jig. What brand of bead do you use to get better sonar feedback on your screen. Running Ecomap 93sv. Would there be a benefit to upgrade to Ecomap Ultra series?
@crappiemoment13 күн бұрын
Using Pucci brand beads. 8mm. Picked up from Bass Pro. I upgraded from 93sv to the GPSMAP 1242 for the bigger screen and helm recording feature. Not too familiar with the ultra. A lot of times upgrades end up being a disappointment because of high expectations. Appreciate you watching!
@tomntn100811 күн бұрын
Was going to ask the same reference the bead. Thanks for the name of them and location, shallow to about 12-15 I’m good but I like fishing deep timber starting now in 30-40’. Be interesting to try these beads out with my weight due to liking a lite jig head with a slow soft drop to the fish once I stop above them. Great vid! Woods reservoir TN

You in NC? I am near Wylie, want to get out more and find some with the kids but don't have the electronics. It looks like you jig over them on open flats? 10-15 ft down off creek mouths?
@crappiemoment18 күн бұрын
Yes. NC. Flats mostly in pre spawn and spawn. Open water during other times of the year. Mouths of creeks are great after spawn and when they are moving back in during the Fall transition. If you know some brush piles, that would be a good place to look this time of year. I don't have docks on my lakes but fishing docks on Wylie is a good place to find them. Hope this helps. Thanks so much for watching!

How do catch fish on no wind days when the water is slick as glass?😊
@dannylang797118 күн бұрын
I fished this same day in Georgia and the water was slick as glass, and when I would pitch my bait out the fish would scatter.😊

It helps if there is a slight breeze but can still get it done when there is no wind.
