It never gets old. But man they're easier to find with livescope. Best fishing partner I ever had.

Catching those roamers is always so fun!! Question, the orange bead above the jig, is it just that and orange plastic bead? Shows up well on the LS!
@crappiemoment9 ай бұрын
Love those open water fish! Yes. Just a bead to show up better on LS without adding any weight. Thanks so much for watching!

Could you explain you bait, line and rod setup?

I'm using a 7.5' ACC Crappie Stix medium action with fast tip and with 15lb braid (no leader). Okuma size 20 reel. 1/16 ounce jig with Bobby Garland 2" baby shad in a variety of colors. I also use Strike King and Charlie Brewer baits. Hope this helps. Thanks so much for watching!

The livescope showed 23.4 ft. Is it the bottom depth or the fish depth?
@crappiemoment9 ай бұрын
Water depth. How deep the water is from surface to the bottom. Thanks so much for watching!
