How to remove and replace Power Steering Pump and Reseal Vacuum Pump from a 01 Dodge Ram Diesel 5.9L

Hello everyone! in this video we show how to remove and replace A power steering pump and also how to reseal a vacuum pump from a 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 Diesel 5.9L Cummins pickup ! Remember to NOT replace the power steering pump with a Reman (Remanufactured) type and only with A NEW power steering pump , why ? because Remanufactured ones came out defective! ( we tried 2 and both came out bad) Unless you want to try your luck? but to save time and energy, might as well pay the extra buck for a guaranteed working new part !

Well as long as its a new pump, autozone and orielly sell there pumps from the same vendor so no worries and if your getting from online , just make sure its new and im sure you’ll be safe !

I noticed your doing the vacuum pump could that have caused the failure of the reman pumps?

Maybe but the driver wasnt broken so i dont see why it would , i put a new pump instead of a reman and everything works fine to this day !

Only asking because I’m replacing mine and bought a reman. I hope it works. I’m not a mechanic and this isn’t as easy for me. I got a new pump.
