Thanks for this video. How long should i run the campaigns to see if they are running well?, i just launched two, one for keywords and another one for products, they have been on for three days only and i know is too soon to know how are they going to perfom, But how do I know if they are going to perform well? I launched them thinking about the Halloween season, promoting my books that have this theme. How long should I keep the ads running to know if the book really has potential using Amazon ads, or if I will definitely need to improve it?

You won't know if a campaign is going to run well. For the most part that if going to have to do with your book, the title, cover, price, description, interior, etc. If they are all good and create a good value proposition you have good chances. I would recommend letting a new campaign run for up to two weeks and then see. But obviously if one keyword is getting 100 clicks and no sales then that's something I would recommend not letting run for 2 weeks before pausing or negative targeting that. That's an extreme example but just to give the idea.. I also put a link in video description to free training and guidance from the Amazon Ads website. Make sure to check that too. Will find valuable data there.

It normally takes me about 10 clicks per sale so at 75c that would cost me $7.50 per book not including any taxes on the ads. There’s not that much profit in it per book for me. I often wonder how much profit sellers are making per book to be able to afford these ads.

@@Truthseeker373 definitely best to have higher prices so there is more profits for ads. Otherwise need to do really low CPC campaigns. Only options

@@SelfPublishingTitans yeah I find that part a harder balance then actually running the ads. If I price my books higher the sales drop off. It’s difficult finding the sweat spot but it’s good when you do.
