OMG, thank you so much for mentioning that you can use the packaging from Akko switches as a lube station. I can't believe I didn't think of that, it's so brilliantly obvious. I just bought two sets of akko silent penguins and thankfully I didn't throw the boxes out yet! 🙏

I would like to say i have been building keyboards from the start of this year and i would say nowadays stock stabs that comes with the board are good enough with little lubing and tuning how far have we come in this hobby

2 years later and said friend that was mentioned finally got the keyboard. It works like a wonder and now I don't have to psychologically torture anyone within earshot with my old blue keys. Also, I love the little drawing on the back!! Thanks again for the keyboard! <3

I do tub lube my stem and springs. For stems, mix of Krytox 205g0 and few drops of GPL105, should be very very very few amount of lubes. With springs, good amount of GPL105. Shake for like 5 minutes. Check the stems, if you think you overlubed, then you overlubed. If overlube, then I throw a tissue paper inside the tub, and shake it again. For housing, only the bottom housing. But some switches only needs a lubed stem and spring. Funny thing is I did all these if it is a commission work. All of my keyboards are all stock switches because I hate it if I do it, but I love doing it if people pay me to do it.

Oh yeah, everything I said applies to linears. for tactiles, I would rather go in pain lubing all stems one by one than overlubing it with tub lubing.

Used them as a base for a frankenswitch. Replaced the stems with Geon sliders (Baby Blue) with SPRiT SE E 63.5g. Certified bangers for tactiles.
