I just want a revive of the entire 0080 War in a Pocket and 0083 Stardust Memory line. HGs, RGs, MGs, 1/100, a promotional event with re:runs of the series on their YT channel. ONA's are just OVA type anime but released online instead of on home video. Most OVA style anime entries (aside from bd bonus features) these days are ONA's.

Not exactly, because ONAs are notoriously low budget, as they are usually distributed for free. OVAs were actually sold as you said, so they almost always had quite hefty budgets. So while the time formats are the same, ONAs are consistently not particularly good.

Also there isn't really a good sample size to compare ONA vs contemporary OVA quality as the video streaming that enabled ONA's also killed most direct to home video releases.

I think the fear is that ONA is now associated with Twilight Axis and tried to look detailed but had quite a bit of cut corners and so short per episode that it was hard to get into it.

I'm a little more cautious about the live action movie now than when Jordan Vogt-Roberts was at the helm... at least he knew the Gundam lore and is an avid UC fan. He was engaged in lore discussion with other fans in the past and seemed like he was going to honor the source material. Hopefully this other guy is similar.

The Legendary Gundam movie is to me what the Spawn movie announced in 2007 is to Image Comics fans: show me a trailer with an honest to god release date, then I'll believe you when you say it's still happening As for what can be announced: I wouldn't turn my nose up to HGAC retail grunts like the Aries and Virgo. But being real, most of the retail releases are gonna be from other IPs. Betting we get unpainted prototypes of Obelisk the Tormentor and the announcement that Osiris (I'm not calling it Slifer anymore) is next instead of spacing the god cards apart like they probably should've

I would genuinely prefer an OVA version as someone who hasnt watch the movie yet(shocker I know lol). If theres more story to tell Id rather wait patiently for a tv series so I can get the most out of it. Also I wasnt sure what the fuss was about pertaining to the zaku duel kit. Idk why folks assumed it was only able to build one kit. Bandai makes duel kits in fact. Kinda cool, not sure why single releases arent being issued though. I wonder if a new factory means we could see a revitalization of more newer MG and PG. Maybe there facilities have been stretched thin and decisions needed to be made on what was more important for the business seeing as HG is still king and we have seen MGSD now and the continual increase of RG kits built

Requiem for Vngence is literally the definition of the Gudam pilot in the show. The series title tells you how it's gonna go down. It's a very gundam ending and the haters just don't realize that. Could the people animation be better? Fo sho! But the mech battles looked good. The story was decent enough to get to the point. A solid 6.5/10. Better than MS Igloo I think!
