So great to hear these DJ comments on new music. I'll never forget the DJ at our college station after he played both sides of "Never Mind the Bullocks" by Sex Pistols the week it came out. Completely flummoxed, he could not believe what he (and we) just heard.

2:04 - On the Marseilles Radar, Des Moines (DEM) is placed too far east. The area denoted as "DEM" would actually be between Newton, IA, and Grinnell, IA. Des Moines (DEM) would be right on and slightly west of the 250 mile line.

I begin to wonder if by chance viewers in Toronto (1964) were able to pick up WNYS Channel 9 from across Lake Ontario late Saturday night. Mike Price portrayed "Baron DaMon" who introduced the horror B movie of the evening. Count Floyd is darn near looking a bit like Baron!

Scent of Mystery played on TV years ago. Apparently, it was on MTV. I don't remember that part, but I do remember having the scratch and sniff card for it. I also remember one smell making me sick.

There was a card that was distributed at showings of the John Waters movie Polyester that had various scratch n' sniff scents on it, including a fart smell. At points in the movie, a number would appear at the bottom of the screen, and you were supposed to scratch the corresponding number. Idiot boys would scratch the fart smell and stick it in their friends faces, coz a joke is only funny when its done to death.

I have watched so many interpretations of La Mer this week. Variety of video shots is always better in newer recordings. At about three minutes before the end, the flute and oboe, soon joined by harp and xylophone and modulating from minor to major chords is pretty awesome stuff. I hope that all universities require courses in classical music appreciation, and that every "educated" person is able to become well-versed in this, examples of the grand achievements of Western Civilization. I'm 79. Art and music appreciation classes in college altered my life forever. May 24, 2023. St. Joseph, MO, USA.

Big stars graduated sctv. Count floyd was obstensibly also the owner/operator of sctv..who was in a wheelchair but that was a scam.
