@@Clive697How does it show? Is it possible that each recording actually takes up to a few hours and the producers edit it to keep the funny stuff? You realize that they even shorten the time between idea and joke, as to make everything seem snappier? Ian and Paul have been doing this for decades. Of course they read the news and think of some funny comments, but plenty of it is spontaneous.

A good few years ago a couple of friends from the Middle Temple Treasury took Naga out for a celebratory meal as she had passed her law exams with flying colours. For some reason I was invited and I remember what a shy friendly young girl she was. I hoped that she would survive in the cut and thrust of law. My words of advice were along the lines of “You have to prioritise yourself”….who the hell I thought I was to advise someone like Naga will always remain a mystery to me! I wish my dad were here to see this day. He had this dad joke for all of my life. A man goes into a pub with a duck. The bartender says "You can't bring that pig in here." The man says "It's not a pig..." and the bartender says "I was talking to the duck." Now dad's gone and he'll never know what happened with the duck here.
