Man, I can't walk straight without stubbing something normally, there's no way I'm going to trust a shoe that leaves a single toe out to take the brunt of my clumsiness.

But in my experience, I just end up bloated, and still hungry. If I add a little cow's milk, semi-skimmed, or skimmed, ,then I think I can make it work. an the occasional egg.

Good info. I started powerlifting in my late 50's. I'm in my 60's now and have a couple competitions under my belt. Competitions are a great motivator. Definitely get a coach who came program your progress, and ensure safe technique. I like walking into the gym knowing exactly what I'm lifting that day. I leave the details to my coach, so not second guessing my lifts. The powerlifting community is awesome. Very welcoming, people of all ages and backgrounds.

I'm 92kg and started running in these with 0- running experience, Feels like the bottom of my feet are being slapped with 90kg concrete slabs over and over again, Leg muscles and calves get tired before I can even run out of breath

did u figure how to minimise the pain?
@dongyangchen334017 күн бұрын
@ so the first hurdle is spreading your toes, toe spreaders and toe socks help. I’m on my second pair of vibrams now and i went for the more expensive pair with the thicker sole and its much more like a regular shoe. The previous one i had were trail runners and the sole was way too thin, i felt every stone on the road.

So im on the go to purchase a pair of five fingers, and i have this question , i have a pair of 5fingers injiji socks and it its all grgeat fabric quality feels everything, the only downside i find is that it hurts in between the toes after a while, so i was wondering regardless of size, if five fingers have the same issue for anyone who has tried them ?

Im using barefoot shoes now for 3 years and some months, and it has changed a lot of things in beneficial parts ! The only thing i'd advise is that it kindoff enlights ur physical problems where u never had any idea u had them ! (happened to me when i wanted to give a go to running after 6 months in them and i had to stop 2 days after and have 3 months of legs recovery coz actually, i didnt know my glutes and lateral legs muscles were so weak ! (the ones that helps u stabilize the legs and feet posture actually) But that problem was already there before the shoes switch, but kinda hidden. Further example, i use casual non barefoot flip flops for inside the house and after too much time into it i started to have back pain. Then switched to having inside amazon barefoot shoes (that are just for inside and held good for winters) and instantly i felt a relief ! So... to sum it up, yes, it can helps alleviate pain and get rid of some, make you grow super muscles in feet, calves etc, but in my opinion, the issues u had previously u gotta be aware and tend to them in order to have a balanced physical body. Thanks for reading xD
