I always get so excited when you upload a new video: A poem for Dana from a fan in the UK. 🧵 Dana taught me how to sew, Her KZbin show my guide to know, Putting in zips, fabrics right sides together, I've learned so much from her, however, Imperial measurements, being a Brit, I do struggle, Half an inch, into millimetres, how to juggle? She came to London, from Texas land, But didn't visit Liberty, didn’t quite go as planned, Feed dogs, throat plates, I learned to use, Turn it right side out, curves clipped, I’m no longer confused. Quilting cotton, bias tape, all her own design, The perfect bow, with her help, it's perfect every time, Red wonder clips, my new best friend, A popped swimming pool ring, into a purse, she can mend. Lampshades created from a ball of string, Creating with Dana, it's a wonderful thing, One of a kind, any size, “it’s fully lined”, Sewing with her, I'm sure to find. Dana loves her sewing machine, and its gadgets too, Automatic needle threader, cutting feature, who knew? Bright tape dispensers, as cutting weights repurposed, Her skills, her talent, so beautifully surfaced. Don’t forget to back-stitch, of your ends will be frayed, Yes, pressing is dull, but that way things look less home made, Babies, gifts, decor, modern trends, Dana teaches it all, she never pretends, A fabulous teacher, thank you for all you do, Just don't cut paper, with her fabric scissors, now that's true

LOVE! Where is a good place to order a 1/4 inch foot for a babylock?
@MADEEveryday
@MADEEveryday Жыл бұрын
Hey Mary! I would look at the shop where you bought your BabyLock machine and also search online....you might be able to buy direct from BabyLock? I'm not sure if they have that set up. It's such a helpful foot though. I really love it for quilting.
@marye9607
@marye9607 Жыл бұрын
@@MADEEveryday Thank you! I have wanted one for awhile. I thought my machine came with one. I have a quilt 1/3 of the way done. I would love a 1/4 to make things easier! I also just LOVE your videos. I love watching you sew because I always learn something new. Oh and the sounds of Babylock machines? The Best :)
@MADEEveryday
@MADEEveryday Жыл бұрын
@@marye9607 hahah. The sound of the machine! 😂 YES. I know what you mean! Okay, you can also use your standard J foot as a 1/4 inch foot. I have a pro quilting friend who prefers that foot for all her quilting, over the 1/4 inch foot that I showed you. You just need to move your needle position over so it's exactly 1/4 inch to the edge of your presser foot. So try that first and you might love it too! It's just personal preference over which one you like more. Hope that helps!
