I desire marriage, however, I truly believe that certain men that God has called are so deep into carnality that they’re missing out on what God truly has for them. In these last days so many carnal or men that don’t honor God in their lives whereby in Genesis 3:16 a part of the curse is that we yearn after our husband however, the godly men are no more - therefore, I wouldn’t want to be yoked to someone in my life that wholeheartedly doesn’t honor God in full measure. I think I saw a clip of the Pop the Balloon recently where the young lady said that the man she wants should definitely have a relationship with Jesus and everyone of the guys in the lineup popped their balloon 😳 that said it all for me 💯

This was soo good and spoke to me on so many levels! 1 John 1:5-7 speaks about God is light, and that we're lying if we call ourselves walking in light but go on to living in darkness. My God this episode was so good. Thank you sister in Christ!!!❤

This is so amazing literally God sent me to you! I kid you not, I’m literally going through my Christian journey and many of the things I’m struggling with, you are speaking on it. And when you said you are reading judges right now, I got sooo excited this is so unreal because I’m literally reading my bible from the beginning all the through and I’m on judges right now and i was reading the story of Gideon today ( even though this video is probably old ) but I got so excited !

Tell the truth. They haven't made an impact with anyone from that industry. They have been blinded. Poor excuse they act as if Jesus doesn't have sounds never created before. Those Chritian artists enjoy that atmosphere and that type of attention from the world. It does not glorify God. Stop listening to them years ago.

Well...in essence is what yoy are saying and what you did say...is that a "Christians presence amongst unbelievers will be more a bad affect upon the believer more than a good affect on the unbeliever or on the sinner" Well l would thats possible...if you are weak in the spirit...lets quote Paul here in 1 Corinthians 5:9-10-11, "l wrote to you in my epistle not to keep company with sexually immoral people, 10: Yet l certainly did not mean with sexually immoral people of this world...("the unbeliever")...or with the covetous, or extortioners, or idolaters...since then you would need to be taken out of this world" 11, "But l have written to you not to keep company with someone named a brother...a "Christian" who is sexually immoral, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, , or an exstortioner, not even to eat with such person calling themselves a Christian." Though Paul also further on says in 2 Corinthians 6...do not be unequally yoke with unbelievers for what fellowship does righteousness with lawlessness and what communion does light have with darkness?" 15, "And what accord or agreement has Christ with Belial..."satan"...and he goes on about our temple not having agreement with the temple of idols. Therefore my discernment on this is if you are strong enough and are lead by the Holy Spirit to share your talent to be a witness to unbelievers then you are required by the spirit to do so...but if you are just doing it for money then you are definitely in the wrong frame of mind...body and spirit and need to understand your motive and where the Spirit is truly leading you...we can walk in the flesh and do the wrong thing or we walk in the spirit and do the righteous thing "for as many are lead by the Spirit or the children of God." Amen.

Our hearts are an idol factory. Marriage, singleness, motherhood, a child-free lifestyle, everything. As a married woman who did struggle with this concept, I do want to give a word of caution to women that do desire good things from God to truly go to God for them with faith that He will honor your desire if it is pure, but DO NOT over-correct this issue because of a fear that it might be an idol. As a response to idolizing marriage, I thought God wanted me to live my life not giving attention to marriage or dating at all to better devote myself to Him. I restricted myself from dating, male friendships, and didn’t make room for God to even bring a spouse my way. I girl-bossed and made an idol out of that as well. Had I not listened to the LORD say it was OK to date WITH HIM in mind a year ago, I would probably still be waiting aimlessly for what God had wanted for me all along. (Also, my husband found me, not the other way around). Amani is definitely speaking truth though, just wanted to add another point of caution! ⚠️ I think it is wiser to make sure your desire for marriage is being put in the proper perspective AS you listen to how and when the LORD wants you to date. This approach actually was liberating for me and at the same time increased my faith and dependence on God because I had to become vulnerable with God and man. I truly believe that He is with us and that if we commit our way to the Lord, trusting Him with our desires, and He will act (Psalm 37:5). In my case, it led to me meeting the man I prayed for. If He gives you peace to wait, wait by all means, but sometimes He gives us peace to “date with God”. Whatever He commands us to do, He will accomplish on our behalf. Hope this helps someone. ❤

Amani, we need more christian people like you. You keep it real. You dont pretend and get straight to the point. So many christian women (God bless them) talk about struggles but still try to keep it all pretty, you know? And while the message is good, its hard to relate because of their efforts to keep it all pretty. This is my first time seeing your video so I just want to say that your words reached me.

Didn't Jesus hang with Sinners? Are we not all sinners? And are we not saved by taking Jesus as our saviour. Jesus is the judge remember not us.
@AmaniWortham
@AmaniWortham Күн бұрын
Hello 💕 Jesus did not "hang" with sinners. He led them. He taught them. He healed them. He did not align Himself with unrepentant ungodliness. He did not do business with them. When He called Matthew to be His disciple, He didn't set up a tax collecting booth to be with Matthew. It was the opposite, Matthew left what he was doing in order to be with Jesus. THAT'S the difference.

I just went to listen to the song. It was actually an inspirational message. Criticism would be warranted if there was any sign of compromise but if anything they called her to a higher standard in that song. I believe this to be a modern way of “eating with tax collectors” like Jesus did. There’s a way to engage with the sinner that exemplifies Christ’s love.

@AmaniWortham Күн бұрын
Hi 💕 Just the fact that they willingly put themselves on a rap album was their compromise. It'd be different if they let Glorilla share a testimony on their project, and brought her into what they were doing. The problem lies in the fact that they went over to her side. We have to remember that we don't battle against flesh but against evil spirits and principalities in high places. Often times when we do business with the ungodly, we aren't rubbing off on them, they're rubbing off on us. Which is why we're called to be set apart in the first place.
@elijahhunt6362
@elijahhunt6362 Күн бұрын
@@AmaniWortham I’m not sure if that’s the case. That’s your opinion that they should’ve had her on a gospel album instead of the other way around. But something tells me that if that was the case there would be this same level of outrage from people and we would be having this same discussion. What constitutes compromise in this situation isn’t as concrete as you’re describing it. After all, we are the ones Jesus told to go into the world to make disciples. He didn’t say for them to come to us. That’s a sounder reading of the scripture’s consensus on matters like this, from how I see it.

I love your zeal! I’d encourage you to reevaluate your take on being “light in darkness”. It sounds like you’re saying there’s absolutely no room for that course of action when Christ told us in that we are the salt of the Earth and the light of the world. He went on to say to let our light shine in the world that men may see our good works and glorify our Father in Heaven. There’s a difference between keeping company with someone and collaborating with them for a moment in hopes of doing a good work and have an impact. Keep praying and journeying the scriptures. The wisdom God has given you will continue to give you insight. Love you, family!
