Been taking a look at your videos due to wanting to go for the police force. My question to you (before I view this video in particular), would viewing this video be considered looking for ways to beat a polygraph or is this a guide on what the polygraph contains? Hope to hear from you, and keep up the great work.

I want to be a deputy because when my twin brother passed away who was in law enforcement I lost my only brother and I realized the day at his funeral I witnessed hundreds of officers that didn’t even know him come to that building and treated us like family. And I realized I have brothers In law enforcement and I would love to have that brotherhood and help protect people that can’t protect themselves. It’s a calling within my heart that I can’t shake. It’s something i just feel the need to serve. That would be my most honest off the cuff answer

Nobody will help me with this issue but I’m 29 years old. I have worked at my current job since I was 17. Never been wrote up. Never been late and I have a GREAT opportunity to apply to my department as a deputy and I’m very concerned about how to handle my employment references if I’m still working here and I don’t want my boss to fire me if the sheriff calls him asking for a reference because clearly this is my only solid reference because I have only worked here aside from home jobs like mowing yard, picking up hay etc just normal guy stuff but official job is just this one that I’m still currently working so how do I handle this? Please help me I’m stressing out about it badly

His speech should have been as follows. Advantages of being a police officer! Don’t have to worry about getting arrested. Don’t have to worry about getting speeding tickets. Don’t have to worry about being bullied anymore. If you have blood, thirsty thoughts, if you were bullied as a child, if you want to beat rape and murder daily with no consequences, you probably should become a police officer.otherwise you will not have the blue line gang protection, and you will go to prison.

They also ask “ are you a member of a religion or do you have any religious beliefs that would prevent you from doing your job effectively?” They want to make sure you have no morals, values, ethics or integrity that will impede you from your enforcement of tyrannical power.

I had some questions or to get some advice on the psychology evaluation. I had my first experience with it for a local agency here. And I was “not recommended for hire” unfortunately I feel like I was too honest. I’ve watched a ton of your videos and it’s all about being honest, and integrity. So I took that to heart.. and luckily I don’t have a record or a hard past. However as kids we do things. Anyways. I feel like the examiner was very judgmental and rushed through the process. Any advice going forward as I’m in the process now with a different agency

that guy you mentioned in your video, could breathe. I've been in situations where I couldn't breathe, yea, you can't yell shit like "I CANT BREATHE" LOL if you truly can't breathe. sorry. also he OD'd since he was a degenerate drug addict which happens often, many such cases. Either way he contributed Nothing but trouble his whole life and caused nothing but trouble.. So who cares, either way. Guy was doing his job other guy was resisting and in the process of committing a crime. If you disagree you should be banished to a town of nothing but floyds. Bet you'd love that.

I have a question. I applied for the police department in my state, I am 45 years old and definitely in shape for the job. The only concern I have due to the video I just listened to by you, you were saying something about medications. Well I am not on an antidepressant but the medicine I take is for anxiety, I don't have anxiety really bad, but I have been taking it for a few years now. It was prescribed by my doctor. I don't see a counselor though. Would this affect the chances of me joining?

@@gustavofring1515 well if youve found reddit useful then use that. Reddit cant be all that if youve searched KZbin for more information. Hes probably 2-3 times older than me and you and he wants to be helpful. Grow up. I couldnt imagine taking 2 minutes out of my day to write a nonsensical comments like youve done.

For the maker of this video; If you know what the law is, as you claim, I find many cops are NOT familiar with the law. And far too many police officers are ignorant of our civil rights.i suspect too many cops choose to join law enforcement, because they have ego problems and the badge and authority it gives them, helps stroke their ego! Too many other candidates also join law enforcement, because they do not feel educated, skilled or qualified, for any other job! Personally,I do not feel very positive about American law enforcement! I don’t approve of qualified immunity. And I certainly do not like the gang- like culture, which not only exists, but strongly thrives, in the vast majority of police departments across this country. Am I saying all these negatives point to every cop? No, but it is true about far too many! Stay safe Officers. And please pick up a law book every now and then!.

How can I get into law enforcement. I know I have to be 21 but how can I start? Any trainings? At 19 year old? Or how can I apply once I’m 21 in policing?

Not much else other than bad advice here. "Just be honest." Doesn't work. Honest people fail just as much, if not, more often than liars pass. They get manipulated into reacting to the truth and later confessing to something they didn't do. "Don't play games with it." Why not? That's what you do with toys. The machine doesn't do anything but measure how nervous you are, and reactions mean little more than a focal point in an interrogation after the fact. So react where you need to react, and relax where you need to relax. Even if you pass with flying colors, they'll find something to grill you on, so make sure you don't confess to anything.

Just remember that being honest is not how you pass. Honest people fail and liars pass all the time. Just react to what you should react to, and relax where you need to relax. The machine measures nervousness. Even if you pass with flying colors, they'll find something to interrogate you on. Here's where people usually fail. Once the machine is off, you are technically not under any pressure, so they can use your confessions here. Even if the machine shows no reaction when they said it did, and even if you told the truth. Don't confess to anything.
