Getting the new epson V1070. I believe it has better self cleaning. sort of my like my epson dtf 2270. it has great self cleaning. I hardly ever need to clean it.

Thank you for not sugar coating the maintenance and for giving a rough estimate as to the cost. A lot of us in the laser maker community are definitely having FOMO. Several groups recommend outsourcing UV printed items first to see if in fact a UV printer would be a good addition to your business. I like that you brought up the makers that are buying these machines have established businesses.

I think the ISSUE could be that If Creators have a COMMUNITY where information is shared via referrals, it could cut through the SCAMMY or CHEAP suppliers overseas or even here in the states. It would also help that supplier and WE (as a Community) can keep those suppliers in Check if they FALL OFF (QUALITY) by simply making it known to them that we're no longer supporting your company due to NOW Poor quality... So in a nutshell SHARING IS CARING (for craft creators) with us UPDATING if and when we find other Quality Suppliers Many Thanks again!

I was using both of these, but switched to Ironlak. I love it coverage. Hobby lobby has it at $5.99 as of 09nov24. Walmart sells the 2x stuff at around the same price. Both Rustoleum and Krylon have way bigger color portfolios, but give the ironlak a try. Please note, the spray cap is slightly different, so the paint sprays heavyier.
