No one on KZbin is telling you the truth about where to buy for less. I checked prices at the referenced suppliers and they were way higher than what I pay locally. Do your own legwork and don't trust everything on here.
@ThatMomWithALaser

Thanks for your input! I’m not sure if you’re cautioning people against my video specifically, but I did mention at the beginning that sourcing locally can be a great option if possible. I also covered how to source overseas to help avoid the higher prices that often come with domestic suppliers. At the end of the day, I always encourage people to do their own research and find the best option for their needs.

Would you seal the engraving again after it's painted so that the acrylic paint in the engraved areas doesn't scratch or peel over time?
@ThatMomWithALaser
@ThatMomWithALaser 2 күн бұрын
@@renaissanceman8424 hi! Thank you for watching and for commenting. You can seal it before you peel the masking tape but I have had the fill hold for several years now on items like keychains that are handled a lot so I don’t think it’s that necessary.

Your videos are so helpful. I just got my Mira 7s, no sticky tape on the targets. 😩 and having a real hard time finding machine specific help. The 7s has these black baffles along the side and idk where to start the alignment process. So frustrated

Thank you so much for taking the time to share that. I'm glad the videos are helpful. Do you have the new redline? If so, if you have a glass tube, you really shouldn't need to align it. :)
@christinajohnson2421
@christinajohnson2421 4 күн бұрын
Yes. Brand new Mira 7s redline. I read I shouldn’t have to align it, but figured it’d be good to learn how to do it. Your slop explanation helped a lot too. I got that message on my first attempt at sending the test file over. Then got the message “not enough extend space” and then gave up for the day. Thank you for the reply.

The one thing you skipped over when discussing metal cutting options is the cnc plasma. They are very affordable and easy to use. Easily under $5K. I know that wasn't the point of the video, but there are certainly other options for folks who want to cut metal and don't have 50-100K to spend.

I saw in a video from Epilog Laser titled "Laser Quick Tip - Removing Acrylic Adhesive Backing" and they used Pure Citrus Air Freshener.
