This was a really insightful video for me. I recently received a Mira 5 S, and I was just thinking about how to use it for larger-sized objects. After all, it's possible to insert oversized items with this model as well. Thanks for this fantastic video. I will use the knowledge gained here in my own videos too.

Hey Emily - For the steps when it comes to marking your targets in the 'Print and Cut' feature in Lightburn, after you set your first target, is there a reason you prefer to jog your laser manually over to the second target and hit 'Set Second Target Position' instead of just clicking that second target in Lightburn and then clicking the 'Jog to Selection''. When I click that 'Jog' button right after setting the first target, the laser head automatically moves over to the second. I tested with a scored project and it worked perfectly. I just am curious before I do my first big passthru project if manually was better than using Lightburns 'Jog' button to set targets. Thank you! By the way to others, HIGHLY recommend Emily's class! I took it last year and still refer back to it as times. I never would have been able to launch our laser business with my feet running without taking Emily's course and learning Lightburn. The amount of hours she saves you learning trial and error and looking up how to do everything, is priceless! She and her team and well worth the investment!

Just a thought I had to maybe improve workflow doing these split pieces. Would you be able to just cut shape using the middle rectangle because then it would split it into 3 shapes?

Excellent video. I love watching them. The instructions you talked about were for setting up the pass through on Lightburn correct? Just wondering since that’s not what was emailed to me.

Thank you, Eric. My sincere apologies. It must not have been saved properly when I originally set it up. I just fixed it and emailed the proper one to you. Thank you again for watching and for taking the time to let me know! :)

What is the smallest aeon laser that does this?

Hey there! The Nova 10. The Mira's have an access door that will still allow you to cut oversized objects. I have a video on that here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mJWkZ6qfepysqdU
