Those dmi/case row units have no spring in the shank assembly they are directly bolted which is why you’re having issues . There’s no give anywhere else in that row unit compared to dalton and blue jet row units that have springs intergraded into the shank. I have same issue with my 4300 dmi .

Not sure if I missed you saying it, but why were you breaking so many bolts? Frozen ground? Do you know if you can add strip till units to these toolbars? Back in the early 2000s my cousins purchases a new similar DMI unit that had strip till components to form berms. Ultimately that's why I bought that 9220, I'd like to get a 12 row strip tiller behind it, but refuse to spend BIG $ on the exorbitantly-priced Soil Warriors & Kuhn Gladiators...they're really raping the farmer with their pricing.

@EDBZ28 yup ground was half frozen. We never had an ideal window to do anhydrous. Was too warm early, then it got wet, then once it started drying up it froze. By the way you worded it I couldn't tell for sure if there was 3 different shots or not, but there's a combo PCV2 + Mycoplasma vaccine to save a shot for you, if you did 2 different shots for those. It's called Circumvent. I do 3 different vaccines, Circumvent, Ileitis, and an autogenous strep/glassers vaccine. The last one really made a difference in meningitis cases. The barn that has partially solid floors, do you have much trouble with manure buildup?

What we use is a circo/myco vaccine and add the prrs vaccine to it all in 1 2cc shot. Ecoli about a week in and ileitis at about 8 weeks. Is that strep vaccine expensive? It seems to me that yields of all sorts of crops are mediocre at best both in the USA and Europe with a combination of bad wet weather, poor crop establishment (especially winter cereals principally winter wheat last Autumn) significant pest and disease issues as well. Spring planted cereals have at least produced broadly satisfactory yields and reasonable to good quality. Forage maize has often been rather disappointing due to a lack of sun and heat. At least grass growth has been good and most folks have adequate to good winter supplies of fodder compared to last year - their main worry is about a shortage of straw for feed and bedding use
