Hey man! Love watching your vlogs - this vid in particular gives me a great perspective on how it would look on a bike on my commute home from Richmond! Will be getting my learners again and the same bike this year at some stage! Cheers!

That sucks man, I'm glad they didn't take it. I'll never forget that feeling when I saw the footage of 3 guys trying to take mine one night when I was living in London (I uploaded the video to my channel), and even worse when the police didn't give a single f*&k about it 🙄 PS: "secure" garages are anything but secure compared to street parking IMHO: once they are in, they have plenty of time in the middle of the night with very low risk of anyone disturbing them...hopefully bike theft will never be as bad in here as it is in the UK!

Hey mate did you tune the bike after the exhaust? Or just leave the lams tube on it
@NicksBikes9 күн бұрын
Similar story with the 390 Duke. It was actually stolen and recovered and needed new keys and locks all around. Thieves put about 1000 k's on it with nasty E10 in the tank but were stupid enough to leave the rego on the back. Apparently the 🐷s shunted the degenerate FK right off the bike, but the dash footage never came to light, just the panel damage and scratched up Remis exhaust tell the tale. Frame sliders might look dumb, but they really do a decent job of protecting the bike in a slide

Someone tried to nick my ninja 500 in Oct of 24 and it was only a couple 100 to fix but it was a mission since it was a fairly new bike and i had to wait 8 weeks for the part to arrive it also was a mission as i had to prove that i was the owner of the bike because of all the recent bike thefts in Vic

Seems there has been a bunch of apartment break-in's targeting bikes recently, my MT09 got stolen from my secure apartment carpark in Melbourne in November.

It's been good watching your vids over 2024, keen to see what 2025 brings. Hopefully no more theft attempts on the bikes, people do really suck.

do you have fire and theft insurance?
@bacevs8 күн бұрын
Sometimes cheaper to fix yourself than having to pay the excess or deal with the hassle through insurance

@@bacevs fixing a broken lock is one thing, but how are you going to fix a missing bike? Just pay 5-10K for the next one out of pocket?

You're a charismatic well spoken guy. Its been a pleasure to watch you throughout 2024. To start, I watched to fill the craving I had for motorcycles while I waited to first get a bike, and then to get my license finally. After getting my bike and my license, I still continue to watch for the personality and banger content. Sorry to hear about people messing with your bike man. Scumbags.

I just bought a brand new cbr650r but I got the 650 over the ninja because I’m 6ft2 and 125kilo and it’s really comfortable for me. The ninja was just way to aggressive

I stuck A Crapyvic on my single cylinder Suzuki... It was the loudest exhaust I had ever heard (other than straight piped) even with the baffle in it was too loud to be legal, and the damn baffle flew out on the motorway. (admittedly this was the shorter 370mm long one and was on a Temu pipe system without a cat (which makes the exhaust quieter) but even compared to dirtbikes with aftermarket exhausts it was very loud!

Have you already sold it or not. I just saw the same CBR 650 listed in the Facebook marketplace recently. I'm guessing a reseller bought it.

I spend most of my time on the freeway for work but I ride a cbr500r. I think the 650 would be a nice gradual upgrade before going for something more powerful.

For the USB I went for the Quadlock one, it's waterproof and really small so can be fitted literally anywhere. With the Quadlock phone holder (+ vibration dampener, an absolute must!) it works a treat 😉 Also a maybe a useless one on modern bikes, but I have a Yoshimura Pro-Gress2 gauge for water & oil temperature and battery voltage readings. It already saved the day once when the regulator died and was throwing more than 15V to the system. And last but not least, a Denali Soundbomb air horn. They may say "I didn't see you" but they can't say "I didn't hear you"!! 🤣

00:35 USB Socket. It's also good to see that your battery and changing system are working well if you get one with a display. 01:32 Android Auto/Carplay, several nice devices out there nowadays, also save your phone from damage and battery usage. Some don't like being mounted to a thing that vibrates like a bike more so the cameras. 04:54 Map Animations, similar to Relive but you are not locked into the system. 05:43 Selfie Stick, that is going to be a hard one for the stabilization... the other setups have an open to remove/minimise that bounce.

@JackPerrettАй бұрын
@ doesn’t change anything really, a bike is a bike and you still look after it. But fair enough man
@gutterrashridesАй бұрын
Yes it does change things. If a bike requires premium and you use 91 then it's bad for the bike. But if the manufacturer recommends 91 (which kawasaki does for the n400), then you're not risking detonation and it makes no real difference 👍
