Stonehaven 09 07 2023

This is a trip we had to Stonehaven we had. I was looking to get a few dabs because i've caught them before. It was not to be turned out to be a hunt for mackie but it was a good day out met a few folk that watched my previous videos always a good thing. Just a couple of points i said toilets were on right hand side they are on the left as you come to pier. If you wish to park you can do it on pier but it can get pretty busy at times.

I have fished Stonehaven many a time in the past. Nice place, but lots of crossed lines and people who have no understanding about fishing etiquette. Inverbervie beach is about 10 miles south and a great place to fish, and there are lots of places in-between. These mackerel look nice and big, good for bait in the future. Good video and nice to see you out and about in the North East.

Plenty of mackerel for the freezer and a couple of flatties, shame about the tangle, well worth the trip out though

It was worth the trip always good to fish somewhere different. Good to get bait save cash in the future.

The tangle would have really pd me off.... you would think people may have more sense than to fish too close to another person. Reading through the comments though appears many have this problem.

The problem with this area is there just is not much room and it does get very busy at times.

There’s tons of rock cod and mackerel in methil dock of the end of the pier every cast your atleast getting 2 in

County of Aberdeenshire it used to be in Kincardenshire but now in Aberdeenshire.
