My outdoor range is 65 miles south from my house near Seattle. My Marlin got jammed and I needed to take it apart. ( The range was vacant and it was better than tearing apart a loaded gun in my garage.) Anyway, this video saved my @ss when it came time for reassembly. i took it open like you showed and its the little silver sliding thing that lets the hammer cock . It can be moved by finger to bring hammer back but once i put hammer back it wont slide or anything without my finger heling it so the hammer will come back. Any idea why its jammed?

I bought a 20 year old Mariner recently. I have been shooting for 50 years, and now in my mid 60's. Recoil on this Mariner seemed stout, thought it was just me getting older. I happened to check the recoil pad a few days ago, and the thing was hard as a rock. I ordered a Hogue stock, and it has a recoil pad that actually reminds me of the Limbsaver pads. Two other things make the Hogue stand out over the factory plastic stock. It has rubber overmolding on the fore end and grip area,. Much better than the hard slick plastic of the factory stock. And the LOP of the factory sock is too long for many. It is around 14", whereas the Hogue I got is 13 5/8".

My pins behave NOTHING like this. I’ve broken two punches trying to get one of the two extractor pins out. I gave up. Also the main pin that holds the cocking blocker, as you call it, is a beast. It was very difficult to get out, and not very difficult to get in.

excellent empt for one thing that wasn't mentioned although I still should have noticed it, and that is to put in the trigger coil spring in! Its the first step and I had to redo the whole thing after an otherwise successful install do to neglecting that.

There’s a spring at the top of the clip release sticking out by the trigger bar that’s stopping the the clip from going in. Not sure how it supposed to be please help

The expert was great... Very informative. However the camera man was panning the Draganov while the expert was talking about the PSL. And vis versa when he talked about the Draganov.
