OMG im so glad i searched a third time for anything you may have that was new or different than the other 'backwards firing pin fix' videos i've watched over the past couple years. this poor little Raven .25 was tucked away in the 'to do' pile and every 6 months or so i'd get it out, try to remove the slide until i'd pinched enough skin off my fingers, take it to local gun shops to let them have a go, give up, repeat. finally i decided i'd take every pin, spring, screw etc out of the damn thing till it opened. good thing i saw this first. saved me a LOT of spring chasing ;) it works. it fires. its aliiiiiiiiive!

Thank you so much. I am cleaning my Father-in-Laws little piece. He was only letting me mess with it because i convinced him i knew everything i needed to know. Oops. Knocked me back down. Tragedy averted. Thanks again.

The first time took on of those pistols apart, It took me a long time figure to push in on that firing indicator. Other wise they are real simple to maintain.

Can you still shoot the gun with the fire pin broke, by inserting the fire pin backwards? Another words the pin broke on the correct end but the other end is still together.

I notice that the safety on some P-25's is a straight slide, forward to fire and back for safe.. I wonder if that makes it an earlier or later model, or possibly a different manufacturer?
@Random-news-5174 жыл бұрын
You have an earlier model

I really appreciate the video. I got my Sundance .25 apart thanks to you, but it still doesn't work. It worked fine until I took it apart, but now that I've got it back together right (thanks again), the trigger won't pull. No difference between safe and fire. Slide moves like normal. but no indicator and no trigger. HELP?!?!?!
@IamTheGoatstroker6 жыл бұрын
I put it aside and came back to it later when I wasn't as frustrated by my own stupidity. That did the trick! Thanks again for your videos

Inherited one in this condition. Raven is actually well made, only cheap price wise.

Had mine for 28 years now. Many hundreds of rounds through it. Never had a failure to feed, fire, or eject with good brass-cased ammo. It will NOT run with the cheap CCI aluminum alloy-cased rounds. It reliably and consistently puts bullets where I want them. It's lived in motorcycle fairings, glove boxes, door pockets, center consoles, under car seats, pants pockets, jacket pockets, desk drawers, etc. It's actually even been in a holster once or twice. Dropping the little 25 in my pants pocket has been part of getting dressed for many years. I've heard a lot of snide comments about .25 ACP over the years, but I've yet to find anybody who wants to be shot with one. Is it my chosen weapon for home defense? Absolutely NOT. However, when I leave the house, the S&W Model 19 just doesn't fit in my pocket as well.

Cause your stupid and don’t know quality .Bigger is not always better sounds like you shiny a fishing pole not a gun . Great day to you sir this weapon is our fathers and grandfathers history when it was not made in China no offence sir but 30 years from know that could possibly save your life or protect your family .all kidding aside it’s a solid back up .
