To get the REAL skinny on the 45 PROTO #1 etch, contact HTM customer service and they will get you the answer. As with all (well most) U.S. knife makers they have outstanding service. Beware the "Steel Addiction" it is a Relentless, Unforgiving DESEASE from witch I have suffered from for many years now.
