That’s really neat that your detergent boxes give you these calculations. Here in Canada I've never seen that. I found a great site called “Cloth Diapers for Beginners” where she tells you have to calculate this for yourself. So far I’ve had really good luck with that calculation. Where I live the water is very hard, but I have a water softener, so if I used the “hard water” amount of detergent I’d be rinsing for days.

Question: How would I use reuse the embroidery on some shirts? Or at least put the placement in ok places?

Extremely cute! I was looking just to make two rompers to trim with some knit scraps to match big sisters skirt. This really helped me conceptualize how.

Can I just add, in my opinion, don't ignore stuff that has the labels cut out. It's always priced lower than labelled stuff, but you can tell from the material feel, sewing and details whether it's a good quality garment.

I love, LOVE Vinted! We have so many pieces of clothing from there and they are wonderful prices. I brought a new jumper the other day for just £1 and keeping it for the autumn/ winter! I prefer Vinted over eBay but I still love going to the charity shops!

I am interested in starting to use cloth diapers and am in the research stage. I joined a cloth diaper group on Facebook and they say if your water is past a certain hardness then you need to use a softener, but I don’t like the ingredients in the softeners they recommend and would like to avoid using these. You say you don’t use softener, Have you had problems with mineral build up?? I just feel like the people in the Facebook groups make the washing way too hard and scientific, but I want to make sure I’m doing it right without going crazy trying to figure it out 😂

Wonderful tutorial, thanks! I was wondering if I should use a special dying-only pot for this, as I've read elsewhere that a pan shouldn't be used for making food after having been used for dying fabric. I don't really understand why that would be necessary when you're only using natural products like avocado and maybe a soymilk mordant, but could you help me out with that? I really don't feel like spending a lot of money on a special big pot that I'm realistically only going to be using once or twice.

Jesus Christ is the only hope in this world no other gods will lead you to heaven There is no security or hope with out Jesus Christ in this world come and repent of all sins today Today is the day of salvation come to the loving savior Today repent and do not go to hell Come to Jesus Christ today Jesus Christ is only way to heaven Repent and follow him today seek his heart Jesus Christ can fill the emptiness he can fill the void Heaven and hell is real cone to the loving savior today Today is the day of salvation tomorrow might be to late come to the loving savior today Holy Spirit Can give you peace guidance and purpose and the Lord will John 3:16-21 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. Mark 1.15 15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel. 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. Hebrews 11:6 6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Jesus

I think being able to use disposable while also using cloth back and forth was the biggest problem i had with my first just thinking i had to stick with one or the other for some reason. With my second its been more if i have the energy and washing ability(weve moved and im also pregnant again) so it was impossible to do full time as we didnt always have access to a washer and pregnancy drained my energy that first trimester, though the disposable smell brought me back to the cloth anyways because they dont smell anything near as bad and dont linger smells like when id take the disposables out and still need to air the room out for an hour after, if i wash the cloth the smell leaves when they leave the room and its not as strong anyways since i rinse every one off immediately after changing anyways. I think also a big help for me was to rinse out the pee diapers too because i think they sit and become harder to wash and more smelly so everything gets rinsed out in a bucket at least a couple times before even washing and nothing will smell much of anything while waiting to launder. Also another was buying the disposable liners, i thought if im throwing that away i might as well use a throwaway diaper but the liner is so thin compared to an entire diaper and makes dealing with cleaning so much easier. If you rent and cant install a sprayer, you can also use your kitchen sink sprayer into a bucket and transfer the dirty bucket of water to the toilet if you dont have a long shower sprayer and if you use a liner too there isnt much to spray. Or use a disposable and a fleece liner together helps too(i do this) if one bunches up the other should still catch some of it and its easier than cleaning the whole diaper. Ive used rinsed off and dried out packs of water wipes as liners too and they are slightly cheaper and easy to access in a pinch if your waiting for a delivery and run out. I used two for bigger babies since wipes are kind of small and fold over anything that hangs over the diaper. Some people use paper towels but that doesnt seem like it would be as sturdy to me, id worry it would shred when it gets wet.

Total newbie and I can’t really find this info anywhere. If you’re using wool during the day time, do you continue to use the same cover all day? Are you switching back and forth between two covers? What about kn the gl? Of the baby goes while out of the house do you put it in a separate wet bag?

Thank you for this! My cloth nappies always come out with a stain that looks like a shadow where they've been weed on or soiled. I follow all your washing tips (though I'll have to check the detergent) and I live in Australia and line dry so the nappies get lots of sun! Do you have any other suggestions of how to remove stains?

Here in the U.S. prices of second hand clothing has gone up in general, but in nicer brands still much cheaper than full price. We are so similar in how we change out our wardrobes for the next season! Enjoyed watching and learning about some new brands to me❤️
