Its still Christmas day here in the UK at least for another 2 hours. I wish you all the best in Australia. I used to work in a DIY store and an Australian customer came in and wanted some charcoal for a barbecue near Christmas . We had it all put away in a storage shed . It was really hard to access but I managed to get him some . Strangely enough we got bought out by Bunnings later . That was interesting Bunnings tried to sell barbecues during our winter . It all went wrong for them and they had to sell us at a loss

I love your channel Frank and I watch it every time you upload. I love when you cook on the BBQ and have just nice conversation and just keep doing what you do but the one thing I wish you would do is when you finish cooking the burgers you would test taste them on camera and let us know which one tasted the best instead of saying we ate them yesterday. Kind of loses the excitement for the finished product. Perhaps you could do more tasting on the KZbin instead of editing and coming back the next day and saying you ate them and they were nice.. I understand your wife doesn’t want to eat on camera but it would just be good if you could eat on Camera and taste the final product as it’s cooked given that it’s a review. Have a great Christmas keep doing what you’re doing.

The packs of meat in Coles and Woolworths are Factory packed in Nitrogen to extend its shelf life by many weeks,.... as the meat gets older the package swells up! .......Beware!

The Alcafe at 4.49 is just fine. I switched from Nescafe to Alcafe months ago. It was .3.69 for ages but now gone up.

Aldi has the best burgers in a single burger packet you have to try them not the 4 or 6 pack burgers. Aldi single pack burger with bacon, egg, onions, beetroot, pineapple, lettuce, tomato sauce on a toasted bun with real butter.

They look nice, I haven’t had a BBQ for a long time. Some onions and some spuds cut in circles thrown on the bbq is lovely too Frank. Think we are having BBQ on Christmas Day at my granddaughters. The Aldi burger may be more solid, and have less moisture coming out of it, because it looks like it's more sausage style. The coles burger, while it may have other additives, is likely more minced meat based. Sausage sometimes has more emulsifiers, which consolidates liquids into its mass.

some fried onion would have been good to have with them man and maybe a few fried eggs man too.

The lean burgers from Woolies seem a lot thinner but i guess they are the same amount of meat i mean they're also 500 grams $10 i think but i got them on special for 8 bucks a few months back i really wanted to see the finished product 🍔 lol

Oh Frank.. Im so sorry you thought i was having a go at you about the age of your plate.. It wasnt meant to be.. It just reminded me of all those things we had in our life.. I don’t need to get much as I’m going to my granddaughters for Christmas. I’m in charge of making 3 desserts so, I’m doing a chocolate and raspberry mousse trifle, a pavlova and a lemon dessert that looks like a cheesecake but it’s got no cheese in it at all so pretty easy and not a lo5 to buy. I have to get a few mor3 ingredients for some extra gifts in a jar. I have the majority of ingredients for what I’m making and that’s it for me cos I’m then off to Wodonga on the 28th to spend 3 or 4 weeks with my son and his wife and family, I’m looking forward to that. TFS your shopping trips with all of us Frank and Mrs. Mac and I hope you have both had a great week so far.
