Pretty good price for $2 with all ingredients mixed in. I just brought 5kg of rice from Woolworths for $12 on half price special Frank. Going to last me and the family well over 6 months. Price per meal will go up when I add eggs, shallots and bacon etc but I was still happy with the price deal. Aussie brand as well.

I think pies taste so much better done in the oven Frank. Also. It would have been great if you could have just bought one from RR and compared. Cheers.

Frank some of Aldis products are dearer than Woolworths. eg Nescafe is on special on a regular basis for $5.75 . IGA and coles also have the same price. Chicken breast fillets are also cheaper. just saying.

Thanks for taking us to KMart. I love going there but can’t really get there without a car. I have my car but can’t see to drive it anymore. Its not the same shopping on line. I really will have to find a way of getting to the shops for a look. Where I live we only have the Reject Shop and another shop similar and that’s it. So no shops for me to look at. I bought one of those lower cost versions of Spam at Coles last Thursday. I got the same brand of corned beef too. When the Japanese Americans were interned after the attack on Pearl harbour, they didn't have all their usual cooking ingredients. But they had plenty of Spam, and came up with all sorts of inventive ways to cook dishes using Spam.

I noticed you picked up a lamb Gozleme, one of my favourite Aldi items. They are a 10 out of 10 from me.

Hey Frank. I had a spaghetti bolognaise from Aldi the other night and it wasn’t too bad but that McCains one really didn’t look to crash hot, not in my eyes anyway. I’d much rather make my own anyway, but some days I just can’t be bothered at all, cos it’s only me. hey frank do me a favour, eat only meat for 1 week, 3 meals a day, lots of variety still, meat balls out of mince can have sauce over the top, breast chicken, steaks, sausages, tuna, flake, etc etc, make it a video series of 1 week on just meat and let us know how you go, cut all carbs and no sugar, lots of water etc :) make 1 full week challenge :) pleaseeee you may be surprised on results

I went in BIG W last year in Lavington and I wanted a jumper. Couldn’t find one anywhere in the store. There were plenty of jumpers but they were all really short in the body and super long in the arms. I need jumpers that are a bit longer than above my belly button. I want them to keep my back and rear warm. I ended up at Rivers and got a nice one for either$6 or $8 but it’s a good jumper.

Been awhile since I went to Lavington Big W. I must get over there before long.
