Jin went to a Seoul University. The rest had to use a distance learning scheme. Of course people's dynamics changed with time. However. Think of it as RM is the absent minded professor with a really big heart. Because of the respect Bang PD had for RM he very much became the interface in negotiations between the company and the group. Because he was so intelligent and articulate he became the spokesperson of the group. He helped formulate plans and directions the group should take and is a great precient strategist. His leadership style is very nurturing and inclusive. He encouraged all the members to develope their own styles and interest, creating their own solo songs, encouraging learning. So there are many clips when members go to him for praise and encouragement. In the book they describe RM as being like Jack Black in School of Rock. Described him begging them with tears in his eyes to listen to great music he had downloaded for them saying how can you be singers and not know your music. Yet the members also say they have to look after RM as he loses or breaks things. He's lost multiple phones passport's etc. They say professionally he looks after them but the rest of the time they look after him. There is a famous clip I forgot who said it but it was " when I look at RM I realise God is fair". Once when V and Jimin were fighting so continuously that it was getting to the rest of the members RM made them hold hands all day. Even in a live interview. You were right RM hated being leader. He was only 18 and dealing with translating hate mail and lying about what it said. He was the only one understanding when they were being insulted. He's a very responsible person so the pressure of it all was too much. Never knowing if plans were right or their strategies would work they were so innovative. They not only became industry standard but the company said they copy what RM did with BTS in the Training and Developement department. Its only later after success that you know you are right at the time it's just an idea and responsibility. At the end he rebelled against always having to translate. This has forced the others to improve their English. So even then he proved himself a good leader. When they come back I expect he will want them to act even more collaboratively. Relinquishing much of his leadership role. As he said when they said he would look after V. He said he's a grown man he can look after himself. RM is not interested in protecting his power or role. Its not one he wanted. He just did what needed to be done.

It was calculated that one year with their lives, Run BTS and the free sound cloud songs 20% of their output was free to fans. Even recently Jungkooks huge success with Golden he had the huge free pop concert in Times Square and another free concert. What western artist knowing he was going into the army for 2 years would not capitalise on success and be doing free concerts and multiple TV performances which were also free for fans.

I’m just seeing this so I’m sure you can tell them all apart now, but I understand what you were going through. I had the same problem with JK and Jin at first, especially since there are times they their voices even sound similar. I used to couldn’t tell Jimin and Suga apart and now I’m like thinking I was insane. They are so different.

4:49 that's Hyunjin vocal. He harmonized with himself really well. This part in performance is when he's the center while the other two behind him with only their hands on him. Some ad-libs by him too like those kiss me whispers 😁. You can hear him harmonized with himself too in his songs ice cream & love untold. He can do low & falsetto . For another danceracha older song, try WOW. Taste is danceracha 2nd song 👍

They have such genius lyricism. In a completely different direction, I recommend the song "Answer: love yourself." It shows a different side of their lyricism, like in how they can confort someone. It's a very beuatiful song.

They DO write all of their songs and produce them. Yes, they have a couple of producers that also help (PDogg, Slow Rabbit, Bigman Hit, who is the one who hired them, Supreme Boi and a main choreographer who were there from the beginning), but they have a hand in everything and nothing goes out without their input first. 💜

It's Korean you hear but it sounds like Money to our English ears.

I reluctantly say, I'm ARMY because I feel like I should be doing more than I am....I feel like so many do something and I don't. I understand if you can't relate to the song. This song came out in I think 2009, and it was an integral part of Jhopes dancing style. He bought the rights to the song and made it his own. He always gives credit to to writers of the song, and it means a lot to him, as he danced to it in his his youth.

En su canción God's Menú, reflejan lo que quiero decir.(Después de esa viene Back Door). Aunque los comparan a veces con BTS, la verdad es que en cierto sentido sus estilos son diferentes, al nivel de llegar a crear su propio sonido. Lo gracioso de este grupo, y en parte él por qué son tan queridos, es la dualidad de sus personalidades. Cuando se trata de música, baile y escenarios tienen personalidades fuertes y carácter. En su vida diaria son realmente suaves, divertidos he incluso tímidos. Recién voy a ver tus otras reacciones, pero gracias por tratar con respeto a los niños.
