Dear Don,as a professional time waster/procrastinator I have always wondered about the channel name. Who's Don?.... Thanks for the vids over the years. I've spent thousands on tools and cars over the years,and sometimes I wonder wtf for. Then I play in the shed and all is well. Love yer work . PS awesome sound on the acid bath.

Yeah, me too however, I have been busy with other projects and it is a little hot to do too much painting at the moment that’s why I have been working on the sedan. Nevertheless, I have been doing something on the Ute and it’ll come out soon. :-)

Thanks mate. I’m just planning on getting this one rust free at the moment I think Josh would like to drive it round. Probably just going to repair the rust and put new interior in it so it’s nice to drive. My plan is to keep it simple. I have been enjoying, the progress on your xw project it is always fun to watch someone else do all the hard work. I understand wetting the floor when spraying to stop dust rising , but does it add moisture into the paint ? Or you wait for a low Humidity Day to Spray ?

The wet floor doesn’t seem to make any difference. I wondered that myself, but I have been assured it’s OK. Having a wet floor, makes a big difference, keeping the dust in debris out of the paint. :-)

Go the original intake manifold mate , keep it genuine. don't worry about weight if your not looking to reduce weight from the car aswell as not spunking up the engine super hot Horsepower. Chrome looks crap in a restoration I agree with you 100% mate , keep it looking Genuine. Let the Chrome Lovers on show Cars stick with the Chrome and not us Purists that love Old School Cars in there genuine form. I will walk past every day of the week a car that does not look genuine with Chrome under the bonnet as an Original look is way way more appealing mate. I'm 54 years young and have an XW Falcon so you know why I've said this. Mate, go a Top Loader Please. I have a C4 in my XW Sedan. Iv'e driven XW and XY with Top Loaders and they are much more Fun on the road as much have everyone has said to me keep in C4 Auto , I way prefer how they should be with a Top Loader.

That’s really good to hear. When I was growing up, we had a white XY wagon, that was the first time I experienced new car smell. I still remember it today,And I really liked it. :-)

What brand Epoxy do you use???

The Apoxsee primer I use is Protec. However, I don’t think any brand in particular is better than any other. :-)

Rotisseries are all good and fun ..for the work you’re trying to do to keep your gaps in alignment is done correctly on chassis rack there for you can actually unpick the whole talk boxes in one go and repair all the rust not just some of it same as the inner and outer sill panels replace the whole panel proper with out losing door gaps and guard gaps to the doors and quarter panels
