I found how to utilize the secret, but the flow I imported fails at condition 5 with no inputs from the HTTP request. I can see the secrete I set in the PowerShell script in the failed automate http request. I do have a premium power automate license. }, "body": { "Duration": 5, "Secret": "111" } } So it does show an output in the HTTP request, but shows no inputs for condition 5.

Not sure what could be failing for you, you can remove it altogether

You mentioned a secret, but the issue is, PowerAutomate does not by default, have a secrete. How do you find the secrete you mention in your video?

Hi, nice intro to Loop. Thanks for sharing this. Is there any way we could reference emails in Loop? It would be be nice to be able to share links to the emails so you could easily group them and do emails follow ups
10 ай бұрын
good point, I don't think you can do that today, so for now, you have to copy the title for the email and search for it in Outlook when you want to take action, it works quite well

@@valentinchiorean9701 I don't know, but if you flag an email it goes to todo, with a link back, that is how I work with emails currently. I expect some of this to change next year

I love the Microsoft To Do interface and am less keen on the Kanban-style Planner layout, so I hope we don't lose the layout of To Do as part of the convergence.
10 ай бұрын
ToDo will still exist in planner as shown in the video, with tasks, flagged emails and so on. also a planner kan just show a list layout as well👍

This sounds great. But will I find it's not available in personal licenses of Office 365? So much innovation and yet, never for those of us who work outside a corporate environment. Well, one can always hope it will eventually trickle down to the those family licenses, someday.
10 ай бұрын
I am not sure, I think so for the loop, todo and Planner functionality, maybe not for copilot. I will make sure I differentiate on the license sku's 👍

Since planner will be a loop component. Why don't you just put the planner in OneNote?? Wouldn't it be a more robust system with? Backlinking capabilities.
10 ай бұрын
maybe, but OneNote does not integrate directly with planner, it has to be a loop component. Loop has a richer feature set for collaboration and templating and loop will get copilot. Loop won't support pen writing as of yet though, that is still a role OneNote has.

GREAT VIDEOS - So inspiring!! --- --- I can't make the share function work: I try share form a personal account to my work account. But I get a message saying: "Can’t join list. Lists can only be shared between personal accounts, or between work or school accounts in the same organization." --- Is the share function between personal an work/schools disabled? ---
10 ай бұрын
Thank you so much 🙂 Unfortunately, Microsoft disabled the ability to access personal lists this summer and there is no workaround. My recommendation is to capture to work and then sort it to personal when processing.

This has helped me immensely! My stress is so much lower with everything captured correctly. Do you have tips for working in more than one "work" account for MS 365? I have one for my employer and another for my client and both have a constant stream of emails, teams, calendar invites, etc... My Windows PC is managed my employer - outlook allows both accounts but teams and other applications do not b/c my client is a government and they don''t let their data live on my PC.

Stale, I have created a template in one note which is working great. The problem I have is when I cut and paste a snip or picture into my template and then remove it to up-date the snip the One note template does note snap back to its original template shape. Is there a setting I can use to have my template snap back to original configuration after removing pictures and making changes?

This was working beautifully up until last week when, for no obvious reason, the flow started to trigger itself in an endless loop of repeated executions. The focus time event is no longer created in my calendar, nor does my presence status change to "focusing". The only way I could stop to flow was to turn it off or delete it. I tried re-importing to set everything up as new again, but the same thing happened as soon as I triggered the flow for the first time. Might you have any idea what caused this? I know this is an old post but the solution was still super useful to me.

I see the same thing, the flow is old, I am going to recreate it with new triggers and routines, will share here if I am successful 👍

I find this kind of thing highly disturbing. I've yet to personally experience any benefit from it. It takes the illusion of control and places it out of site, but not mind of the user. In principle this might sound great, but in practice I continually find frustration is embedded into the design much how other business plan for obsolescence. Perhaps origin of one could even trace root to determine a source as to extend Wellness tools to others.... Y'all need jesus.

Just finding your video and thank you for your perspective. I use GTD loosely and I say that because I cannot settle on Evernote, Onenote, Applenotes, ToDo, Reminders, lol. I switch every 3 mos. My company uses M365 and Onenote is a solid platform but full integration is not there yet with Todo. Your Approach makes sense. What do you recommend for when I am onsite taking hand written onenotes with a customer. Best method to create the follow up tasks and stay on top of them? I assume I would have to transfer handwritten tasks to Todo? Is there a way to flag them in OneNote being handwritten? New Subscriber and will continue to follow!

Hello! Thank you for all the amazing information! I do have a question. When I get a new client, I have several steps to do with each client. Is there a way to save the steps as a template? For example I would add “Joe Smith” as the task and/or flag an email as a task, but add the template of tasks instead of typing it out every time I get a new client.
Жыл бұрын
There is no template in To Do, you can either create a recurring task, which has the same steps every time or you would use Planner for this which has templates. Thanks for watching and commenting👍

GTD is specifically *not* vague lists of things you want to read. It's a list of projects, which are a clearly defined outcome with a series of definitive next actions.

Microsoft Todo would be be great but it is blocked by my company. So all of the goodness We had with Wunderlist is lost for many of us. Until some of the security concerns for Microsoft Todo are addressed, many of us will not have access because that app is purposely being blocked by our companies.

That is sad to hear, I am not sure what the issue is with To Do though as it recides in the context of your mailbox. Do you have access to it on web by going to office.portal.com? if so you can use that version on a PC or Mac at least.
