No Linda McCartney photos. The book says get back and not let it be but there were 2 different back covers on the Canadian Let it be. The small white borders of the black and white 4 photos are sometimes missing

If you could make a Canadian British style let it be box set,it would be a masterpiece. The book would be a struggle . The 30th anniversary CD white album had embossing and a number. Maybe you could look for a copy or two and adapt one somehow but it would mean ruining a collectable. And I am not sure but it might have been made in the US

There are at least 3 versions of this excellent book, the 75, the updated 78 and then the expanded 81. Only the 75 contains the extras and bootlegs information because they were dropped, possibly for legal reasons, for the later reprints. The 1981 version apparently contains a correction made by none other than John Lennon himself. Some fawning fans will no doubt find the straight talking opinions here somewhat difficult to digest, nevertheless this remains one of the most clear-sighted accounts of their career. Even John Lennon agreed.

They released the Capitol albums on CD in 2004. You can still get them. It’s worth getting, because each CD is in an envelope that looks like the original album artwork.
