Fantastic content as ever. Really enjoy your unique and informative approach - and nicely coinciding with the 1967 release anniversary too!

Fantastic content as ever. Really enjoy your unique and informative approach - and nicely coinciding with the 1966 release anniversary too! And you just made me realise I have copies of Revolver in seven different formats!

It was when you said Georges face looks really bright on 2009 cover, I think it was 2009? You actually said "someone has been messing with this cover'.

ah, I must have been referring to whomever was responsible for making the pre-press files. Normally, one wouldn't adjust the artwork (i.e. "mess" with it) because you'd want the printed art to be as close to the original as possible. In this case, the brightness and contrast were changed and details got lost in the process. I was lamenting the fact that since Beatle products were all released by one umbrella company, they'd have had access to the same high-resolution artwork, but this is not the case. On the stereo albums (not just Revolver), halftoning was prevalent on the front cover. I also pointed this out on my "Help!" video because the difference is clearly visible when you take a close look at the Parlophone/EMI boxes at the top left.

Hey Mate, Regarding your self inquiry, with someone messing with Revolver cover. There were FAKE 2009 Stereo Boxes and probably Mono Boxes as well. I am one of the unlucky buyers, there is a guy that covers all of this, if this is news to you?

I don't remember referencing anything about fakes in the video, but I am well aware of the pirate box sets well over a decade ago and I can easily identify a fake within seconds. I assume you were referring to the halftoning patterns on the 2009 stereo remasters?
