Thank you very much! Your video could be paid for... I don't have a teacher, so it's harder, but now I can play both spiccato and sautille.

As I understand it: the 'hammer' should be considered as the sound a Bell or Tubular Bell makes when struck, that is there is an instant with a sharp percussive sound and then the reasonant note. This is what happens when the bow is used properly for Martelé: the initial, crisp sound as the pressure is released and then the reasonant note as the bow is drawn.

I use the D string to create a minor 7th dissonace resolving to the B natural (already stable because of open e string). The sound of minor 7th is distinct. Not sure if this helps others . But you are right, a violinist must be have a strong relative pitch.

Hello Julia, I bought your Russian Scale Routine for Violin it saves the tedious work of observing the fingers. by the way, thank you so much for all the content you put online for free, it's incredible. could you clarify, i'm lost for the other positions, is the start the same as for the 3 octave scales? Anyway, thank you so much for all your work, your students are very lucky. Sincerely
@ViolinClassUSAАй бұрын
Hello - yes, all G major/minor scales start in the same first position (if this is your question). The first shift is the same as well. All differences start on E string going up.
@modeclassique7502Ай бұрын
@@ViolinClassUSA Okay thanks a lot, that was exactly my question! So we do the same from Eb to Gb? First position from the chord of A?

Thank you for this little masterclass on this piece. It's such a significant piece for students and having stable fingerings and bowings really assists them/us as we work through the very expressive pieces of this level (and above). I've worked through it a couple of times, still have some oddities left over from learning it a bit early, but will think about your enhancements and see if I can incorporate them.

wow wow wow thankyou yet again.!! Fantastic insight and instruction as usual." Pop singer vibrato," i realize ive noticed been doing it and have gone more to immediate vibrato. Personally i think that in some small romantic type pieces , a sparing bit of the pop singer vibrato can be effective in my very humble opinion. Lets face it, i Have afterall been playing ALMOST 3 years, LOL. Yet 3 years under your tutelage and im well ahead of where most people( non prodigy) would be. Thankyou again Professor Bushkova. Thankyou..

WOnderful version of course yet while Kriesler is employing the anima, Bushkova gives it directly from the feminine soul, consciously AND subconciously IMHO.

Thank you for giving us a better arrangement the bowing and performance for this music. I am an intermediate player adult and often I look at music, unsure how to interpret it for our current time. I watch modern players playing the music and it can be difficult for me to pick up their interpretation. I would like to be more adept.

SUCH a beautiful piece, elaborated and performed by such a beautiful lady!!! Julia THANK YOU!!! You brought me such emotion. Your video is very special. Your mastery and your art are magical. You are a treasure of our civilization!! I have admired your videos and followed you online for some time and I admire you greatly. Thank you for your generosity in sharing your interpretation and your performance with us. This piece is in fact the motivation for me as an adult learner of the violin. I am only 362 hours along my violin journey, but I practice most days and struggle along because my goal is to be able to play this piece. You have lifted my soul. Thank you. Allan Campbell.

well if i could express myself intelligently and poetically i would have written what youve stated here.LOL. Very well done and continued sucess in your playing. Ive started at 64 Y.O. and its like starting a new life. Take care. She is a treasure and i do not understand why she is not world reknowned at the highest level. My guess is that she must have derferred for family reasons? Guess I could ask but may seem rude . oh well , we have her to " ourselves" :)

Most people think this is sad music, yet my teacher said it's actually happy music pieces, and even can playing it in...cute way, I don't know, I try to play it as happy as possible but somehow still sounds kind of sad. Funny thing is, when I play This War of Mine, living in a broken house, in a radio channel it always play this music, and it really feels ...peaceful.
