Good information! Thanks for sharing it. Professional weight lifters/arm-wrestlers sometimes fill a bucket with rice, dunk the hand/forearm in, and twirl and twist everything around in different ways. Great resistance training!

Really appreciating these videos. My forearms have issues (RSI related) and while I have been doing exercises to recover, nobody has ever shown me these violin targeted exercises. Were I in the USA, I would definitely visit!

Specificcally I can't really extend (get it straight) third finger without extending pinky (keeping it curly). I'm not sure if this is a common problem, but surely when it occurs it stops improvements. Thank you very much for you great channel!

A most interesting (and horrifying) problem! The scientific evidence suggests that one should not practice too long for a stretch, and wear a good pair of earplugs, or at least stuff some cotton-wool into your ears. I actually find it painful to play without. While i am always careful about this, i have hyperacusis for no apparent reason and constantly worry about going deaf.
