Wooow I'd be a little careful just willy nilly recommending this stuff. IT DOES WORK, but it's also got a few caveats, ESP about concentration, you have to use the 3% stuff to not harm your fish! Do some detailed reading before spraying this stuff everywhere. It's pretty damn strong and good at killing stuff.

For over 70 years, my entire life, there has been a big piece of driftwood that my folks found. It has been on the living room wall. Now, I’ve put the piece in my dream tank 68 gallon, sticking I above the tank 16”. I soaked it for a month and the water was like coffee. Now, it is giving me tea water, which I have now come to like. I have three filters full of carbon pumping away. I think that I’m going to remove the carbon from two of them. I am a tea water conversion story.

I only have 6 guppies, 6 neons, and a nerite in my tank. Smallest amount the store would give me was an oz. I would feed off at most 20 worms a week and I kept wondering why the colony wasn’t shrinking. Now I know 🤷♀️

Salt and Gradual temperature increases to 86 degrees worked for me every time. Just keep the temp at or around 85 after treatment to keep the safety of your fish in mind. Tropical fish do not mind temps in the mid 80s.

few questions : 1/ what water : tapwater, aquariumwater, RO water, rainwater ? 2/ how long will you get pressure co2 in your bottle ? 3/ can you use Sugar + yeast AND baking soda together (and how much) ?
@creamontop69692 жыл бұрын
@ I suppose normal TAPwater. instant mix = OK. Be sure your instant yeast is not "died / expired", otherwise no co2. thnx for the info !

@@creamontop6969 yeah i found any water will do unless you have really bad tapwater.i do lots of baking so my yeast is also good.

this fungus thing and trying to treat it was a waste of time and money. for me, nothing worked to stop fungus besides REMOVING white eggs, the longer the white, unfertilized or dead eggs sit there, they will fungus and it will spread to viable eggs. Methylene Blue didn't stop fungus at all. Acriflavin didn't stop fungus, Pimafix didn't stop fungus, Hydrogen peroxide treatments didn't stop fungus. Keep it clean, remove dead eggs for the 60 hours at 80F it takes for the eggs to hatch. it's literally, remove the white eggs after the first 20 hours, then do it again at 40 hours for any new ones that appear, no chemical costs. I tried leaving the eggs with the parents and documenting it with a picture every 12 hours, in their attempt to get rid of white eggs, they ate many more viable eggs in the process of eating the white or fungused ones. maybe that would get better with practice, but enough is enough, it wasn't working out, buy the time they were free swimming I had less than a dozen left out of like 400 eggs laid. remove the eggs to a jar, with the tank water at 80F and keep it at 80F, remove white eggs at hour 20, then again at hour 40, maybe if you like to, one more time before hour 60, but not necessary, you can remove the unhatched with the slate. no chemical and blue dyes which didn't work anyways to stop fungus from happening are necessary, whatever is not fertilized, or doesn't make it to hatching is going to turn white and not hatch and eventually grow fungus after about 24 hours. just be diligent about removing the dead eggs before they fungus over and it grows and spreads.

Thanks for your Video today i caught the ich outbreak on my female bettas, isolated them and used the Salt bath treatment, i then realized who the culprit was, my Oto Catfish 🤦♂️🤣 Isolated him with Salt bath as well and i did just notice my tetra has 1 small dot so i decided to just crank the Heat up to 87 F. We'll see what happens from here, my fish usually thrive at around 83 F because i'm heavily into Bettas so they should be fine.
