I know you've already got a lot on your plate in terms of Lana reactions, but I divert you to check out her music videos, especially National Anthem, Ride, and Tropico - the short film (both from Paradise). You mentioned the cinematic elements, and her music videos are probably some of the best... ever! Love the reactions. Keep it up!

yesssir im so ready, r u ready for my long ass comment?? cultural resetttt album. born to die is all ab themes of escapism to cope with issues, finding consolation/happiness within other people, and living for freedom. this is still the most relatable album for me, along w ultraviolence. born to die is like "yolo" but also that her relationship was toxic and doomed to fail from the start of it, it was literally "born to die". off to the races is myy all time fav lana song, the voice inflections, the storytelling, beat, flow, the BRIDGE!! ty for appreciating it to the fullest. u should def do another video where u react to the music videos! they r as cinematic as the songs!! video games is a timeless love song, it blew her up along with summertime sadness and it has neverr gotten old no matter how much i listen to it. the national anthem mv is my fav from this album, asap rocky is in it ! dark paradise is v sad actually, about an ex who died and she's longing for him, wants to be with him on the other side. its good u mentioned the weeknd, bc they have been close friends for a long time and they've both agreed that their discography has lots of similarities. she loves LA and cali, she talks ab the american dream a lot which is what she envisions LA as. she uses cinnamon a lot and says "sweet like cinnamon" which is interesting bc cinnamon isn't sweet but actually quite bitter, so it's like an alternate meaning. carmen is ab Lana's own alcohol addiction from a young age, which is also very sad, she got sent to a boarding school during her childhood due to these issues, shes been sober now for over a decade though!! its french in the bridge haha. her million dollar live performances r a must seee hope u can react to those too, in her live performances she changes up the way she sings everytime, which keeps it rlly interesting. i always loved the line "this is what makes us girls, we don't stick together cuz we put love first" in this is what makes us girls, its so true and so sad. i cannot wait for paradise reaction and ultraviolence reaction!!!

Lana’s NFR was named the best Album of 2019 by many huge critics and articles and it loss its Grammys nomination then in 2023 with her album ocean blvd her song A&W( American Whore) many critics and articles said that it was the best song of the year and it was nominated for two Grammys and it lost and actually pitchfork made a list of the best songs of the decade 2020s and they placed A&W as the best song of the decade showing that even tho her music Isn’t the biggest of the year taking number one spots it’s still the best at leaving an impact in the music industry and being recognized for being the best out of many huge and bigger artist who had a more successful year than Lana. Lana to me will never be forgotten cause she makes music that years later it will be talked about like her album born to die is a new classic the lyrics, music production still hold up even tho it releasing in 2011/2012.

And she is not afraid to experiment and cross/blend genres - she really excels at this!

I just finished filming my Born to Die Reaction by Lana Del Rey! You can expect it as early as 10/13 or as late as 10/16. I really do appreciated the constructive criticism and I want to take my time to edit this while catering to what everyone has been asking for which is no drastic cuts and a longer video. I still have to do cater to KZbin's copyright rules, but I also want to cater to the supporters of this video and give you this best video I can put out!

@JayCluess all the things that the critics said were this or that, she leaned into even farther for Ultraviolence. She beautifully captures what it's like to be in a toxic relationship with somebody you love with your entire being. She also continuously includes her undying love for her first true love, someone who has passed away, which lead to songs like Dark Paradise (on BTD), and The Blackest Day (on Honeymoon). It's Lana's music and Lana's music alone which has healed me from my own life experiences of having lost my first true love as well back in 2011 to murder, classified as suicide, when it was pretty clearly not suicide. So it's been a difficult journey I've been on, and Lana's artistry has gotten me through it. Forever grateful, and forever indebted to her, and I'm a total stranger to her. Insane how life tends to be. Keep on keepin on, my guy ! 👍

subbed for more lana!!! pls do born to die nexttt,it will also put u in summer!! hip hop inspired, it was a cultural reset and such a solid album. Still on the top 200's over a decade later, making it one of three debut female albums to last that longg. lyrics r v important in her music i recommend reading them while listening, shes a real poet, there r a lot of underlying meanings w her lyrics. doin' time was a sublime cover of their song summertime, she does a lot of covers and always does them justice. She is religious and goes to church and everything she references it a lot in her discography.

i understand what you mean on the track happiness is a butterfly, where she doesn’t sing the word you as she did with avenue. i look at the way she sang it though as her giving up in a way. she was hitting hard with the flow making sure she was heard by the person she was singing the song to with “ooo” and “avenue” and then losing the feeling to fight for what she wants by the time she finally tells him what she wants; which is to “dance with you”… so overall it was a calculated artistic move on lana’s part not sing the word in that particular way. as we hear her continue to sing the phrase. “i just want to dance with you” she starts, saying it more softly till finally when she’s at the last phrase she barely even whispers the word ‘you.’
