I’m thinking you could literally just do standard German campaign and it would be great. If modding out the world is a hassle don’t do it on my account👍. Also I’ve bought imperator Rome after watching your Rome campaign. I’d watch you play that again too👍. I’m doing Hibernian and it’s actually super fun. I bought it on steam sale for $20. Its not great but for $20 very worth a few play throughs.

A Microsoft update changed all my sound settings, so the mic's volume is a little lower than usual. I've fixed it for the next video. For that episode, I think we should send all our planes to the UK and the surrounding sea zones, since we don't really need them in Russia anymore. Our fighters will begin the process of gaining air superiority, while our CAS and naval bombers work on destroying the Royal Navy (the former will attack the ports while the latter attack the fleets at sea). Our tactical bombers will be assigned to strategic bombing, focusing on the enemy factories/dockyards, their coastal forts, and the airbases.

Great let's play. Has a nice flow to it. I'm struggling a bit with Sweden myself so it's fun to see someone else make all the decisions. Changing the traditional Swedish disign of the SAAB J9 so it looks more like the stock drawing was NOT OK. (lol) Cheers from Sweden!

In my communist Germany game I’m having the same problem with the wrong ideologies joining the wrong side. Doing my second run of it now and still having the same issue.

It would be fun seeing you do a HOI4 camping when the odds are really against you. As in having to constantly struggle to keep the country together. Perhaps playing a minor nation with those odds next? As always, enjoyed the episode!

Have you seen the Dutch campaigns? I actually lost the first one, where I had to fight Germany, Italy, the UK, and Spain all alone, and I had to try again with a different setup lol

Yeah makes sense to swap the two South Africa’s to put them in their respective factions. You should also put Latvia in your faction because you are fighting the Communist Latvian rump state and so it makes sense for the other Latvia to be in your faction. I think that Latvia was in a civil war but the two sides peaced out when you put the communist side in the big communist faction.

Yeah I agree, we should change the South African countries' factions. I don't think I put Latvia in the communist faction, I believe they joined on their own.

I like the idea of transfering the Netherlands to Belgium so they can continue down thier focus tree. However I do think it is a good idea to trade the Netherlands for northern France to re-coup some of the factories that will be given away, as well as to make the borders look nice. Love the series and can't wait too see what happens with the US-Mexico was as well!

Have you started construction of the v3 cannon you researched. Don’t know what it does in the game but historically the Germans tried to build it in northern France to shell London

hey could you explain to me how to do integrate czechoslovakia focus? i cant seem to get enough fascist support.. is it a focus that is supposed to take until like 1942 or something??

So the 'Befriend Czechoslovakia' focus adds a modifier for them that grants 0.1 daily fascism gain. So that's only 3 per month, and thus it'll take a couple years to get them to the required 50% to take the integrate focus. However, they may have gotten national spirits that are changing their ideology in a different direction, depending on which route of their focus tree their going. These could slow down their fascist gain significantly, or perhaps even completely nullify it. Therefore you should the Boost Ideology spy mission against the Czechs with one of your operatives in order to ensure fascism increases faster.

Hey! Love your videos, I was wondering if their is any way for the second player to control other characters during fights? I'm playing with my girlfriend, we love the game so far, but it seems she can only control her character during battle and I take care of mine plus all the other one. Looks a bit boring for her watching me having 3 turns while she only have one... Hope you can help us with this 🫶🏽

If you go into the options you'll find the ability to change which player controls each of the characters. This will allow you to each have control of two characters.

I think you may have made a tactical error with France, I think you have to assist the Fascist side, by sending troops or it always loses.Despite the fact it looks to be in a good position, at the start of the revolt.

I had intended to assist them, but we had to finish up our war first as you can't send volunteers while at war.

Regarding the hatch entrance: I just went that route and the hatch lock can be picked allowing you to descend into the crypt where Withers is. Activating the crypt door button will still trigger the fight with the skeletons, so loot them first so they don't have weapons when they reanimate. I prefer this route, I think...so you can bypass the battle with the grave robbers if you want. I did this before heading to the grove so it can be done very early on.

Yeah the hatch route is easier. I personally do all the fights for experience though, so I would still fight the grave robbers. Plus they can be taken out quite easily with stealth.

Great review Praetorian and Jynx! You all sound like a really cool couple! Do you think there is any learning in this game for people that don't necessarily like to cook (like me). I got this for $15 on my Xbox. It's a far cry from my usual video games, but hopefully I might learn something. Best!

I suppose you could learn a few things, similar to how the Car Simulator games can be useful for learning what certain parts look like and where they're located. However, like those games can't really teach how to be a mechanic or how to actually fix issues, this game probably won't exactly teach you to cook.

Great Video!!! I enjoy the series, even though it's 8 months old. I like games like this, but is it worth $39.99 on playstation store or should I wait for a sale?

Glad you're enjoying! Value is always relative, so whether or not the game is worth $40 really depends on the person. Do you really enjoy games like this? How much do you expect to play it? Is $40 a lot of money on your budget? Are you willing to wait for a sale? The answers to these questions differ for everyone. What I can say is that Jynx has really enjoyed the game and it's a huge improvement over the first game. Personally, I rarely buy games at full price unless I'm really excited for it though.

Only the player who picks it up will get the item, however there are always enough quest items for each player.
