Either you're using crap guns or the ammo sucks, either way not a very good look if you're trying to sell Magtech ammo. I'll stick with Winchester.

I don't have a way to measure that, but is still pretty loud, maybe slightly quieter than regular ammo but not much

Ive always liked and had good luck with any frontier ammo ive bought. Im glad.to hear it is a mostly in house product now, i didn't know that. I try to always stock those 75 and 68gr loads when i can find them. Definitely a good self defense or hunting round

Any interest in adding an accuracy portion to this?
@SGAmmo_LLC5 күн бұрын
I have done them before, but I just don't do enough match/target shooting off the bench to show what a match grade cartridge is capable of, that takes a lot more time, training and skill than I can put into it, so my review of accuracy would probably show poor results even if the ammo shoots well

Hornady Superformance 556x45 75 grain Ammo is not a good hunting bullet. It shatters all to pieces. It may be good for varmits but on a small white tail deer you wouldn’t get hardly any exit wound. No exit wound usually equals no blood trail. While you might have killed the deer, tracking it down would be very difficult. For hunting I recommend a good copper bullet such as Barnes. 62 or 70 grain. You will get a pass thru.

WTF? You show less than THREE SECONDS view of the gel block wound channels, and NOTHING of the recovered bullets? Freezing the image did not help see at all! Other than the useful velocity readings this vid is a waste of everyone's time---including YOURS. As for the fails to feed, did you lubricate the gun? Was the pistol broken in at all? You said that you bought it a year ago and only just now got around to shooting it: Was it brand new, without a cleaning and fresh lube? Ya know, they ship new pistols with a gummy grease from the factory for rustproofing only so as not to soil the packaging if it is stored a while before sale. This includes plenty of dust and metal grit stuck in the grease, which NEEDS to be cleaned out before first shooting. You look too old to be this ignorant......................elsullo

The M855, 124 grain NATO ammunition is to be used with the Beretta in its unsupported chamber. DO NOT use the M1152’s in the Beretta. They were not designed for it. However, the 115 grain M1152’s were designed for the supported chamber of the M17 (And all Glock and S&W M&P’s for that matter). The 115 grain flat nose M1152’s were developed as a much cheaper training round at the range, than using the much more expensive “Carry On Duty” M1153, with a 147 grain, jacketed hollow point moving at ~990 fps, compared to the M1152’s at 1320’ish.

not that I know of, I have seen guys using this in GE miniguns as well and those shoot 3000 to 6000 RPM. I'm pretty sure the German engineers at DAG thought this product out and tested it in detail before it was made for the military there

You may have said it already, but is it brass , steel or plastic cased? And will it work and cycle out of a standard ar 10 or even bolt rifle? Thanks
@SGAmmo_LLC16 күн бұрын
The cartridge case is plastic and the case head is steel. It is not going to cycle anything without major modifications to the firearm due to the light weight projectile and lower pressure. I was going to test in my Remington 700 because I have used it in that a long time ago, but after letting the gun sit for 15 years something went wrong with the striker spring and the gun is not working right so we went to the M1A as plan B. That said it will work in most bolt action rifles, but it may be harder to open and close the bolt than normal, and in rare case the case may stick in the chamber and have to be knocked out wit ha cleaning rod. Issues like this are common, but I have seen it happen after selling this ammo for decades
@ColdBoreTactical_LLC17 күн бұрын
Sam, that's actually not too shabby of a group at 100yds with plastic, 10 grain projectiles. I'm thinking the Ballistic Coefficient can't be all that great from a plastic bullet. From the looks of the grass on the berm the wind was sporadically gusting from R to L, which would explain the slight horizontal grouping to the left of your point of aim. The velocity is around 1,000 fps faster than a normal 7.62x51, which would also explain why most of your impacts were above the point of aim. Not too shabby!

Thank you! I could certainly have done worse!! And The never ending Oklahoma wind does not help at all

I'm done with PMC. From garbage soft & hollow points that perform like FMJ to this little powder saving campaign, just nope. All these toolbags making ammo with velocities way below the standard need to be called out. I don't buy 10mm for 40 performance. I don't buy 357 for 38+p+ performance. 44 magnums under 900 ft-lbs should be labeled as reduced velocity/low recoil. A 5.56 should never be easily outperformed by a 223 in the same bullet weight. Thanks to Sam for honesty in showing this. I've been a customer for a long time. I only buy elsewhere if he doesn't have what I need in stock.
