I only have the bands that are circular fixed lengths. Would it be OK to do these without a band? Particularly the ones that show arm length bands?
@integritychiropractic5 күн бұрын
The purpose of the band is to achieve some reflexive stabilization of the trunk/core so you can disassociate the neck muscles from it- you could even hold a small dumbbell/KB or water bottle out in front of you with both hands to get that effect.

I injured my back a few days ago. I 100% know what caused it. I was pulling out a dead tree's small roots. Having tension on the lower back, and then it getting unloaded unexpectedly did it

I'm a very short person and I feel that because NOTHING is made for short ppl we are always having to over reach and our legs never properly touch the ground while in a seated position and we have to do some dangerous climbing ( fellow short ppl know what I'm talking about) in our daily lives that we are always suffering from some type of back pain. These exercises will be memorized 😂😂

I want to go to a chiropractor but I don’t know where to go there’s a lot of them around here. I’m in Orange County, do you have any idea where I can find a good chiropractor like you in my area? Thank you.
@integritychiropractic25 күн бұрын
Yes that is always the tough question for patients as there's a big spectrum in how we all practice. I'm a sports leaning chiropractor in my practice and I think there will be more similarities in the level of skill and knowledge in my cohort. Good directories where you can find ones like us are at ACBSP.com and functionalmovement.com. I know California has a lot of good practitioners because it's a large state so you should find something easily. Best of luck.

Thank you , I can barely walk because my back and waist hurts. This morning after trying the self massage with my knuckles, I felt relieved. I hope I can do all the rest of the exercises and get more relief!

Greetings. I just finished stretching out my back with this video and it feels better. Thank you for doing the stretches along with us,talking to us through each movement, in a calm voice. It can be very scary to feel this level of pain and discomfort but following along with your video calmed me down and I felt immediate relief. Thank you 🎉

WOW!!! I expected to be down and out for at least several days after triggering my lower back spasm 2 days ago. Things had worsened today, so I had to roll off my bed upon waking this morning. After spending the last ~hour going through all of your steps, my pain has subsided enormously!!! Thank you so much for generously sharing your video!

Watching this video made me realize that I might have did something with a disc in my back. Because the pain isn’t in my lower back muscles but I’m not sure. Hopefully at the doctors tomorrow I’ll be able to know what happened.

If I throw my back out, I take 800 mg of ibuprofen 3 times per day. I find muscle relaxants don't do much for me, what helps is reducing the pain. But it's also ctritical to do exercises like these.

I've been doing this going on 3 weeks now. I am already noticing less neck pain and instability. What else can we do to help this along? I want my neck to feel good in neutral position.
@integritychiropractic2 ай бұрын
3 weeks is coming along pretty well I would say. Integrating upper back mobility and upper back/shoulder blade muscle strengthening exercises tends to be supportive of the neck and postural endurance.

I threw mine out lifting and twisting (0 pounds). But I had been dancing for days at a festival then drove 5 hours. I had really tight legs and muscles..something to keep in mind.

Every single one of these movements are already done intuitively by people who threw out their backs and alone. Ain't there something different or more complex we can perform? I've done all these and wanted to see what else can I do and searched the internet but all these already comes to us. It's like when you get an open fracture and you instantly try to close the opening and stop the bleeding. No one needs to teach you that, you do that intuitively. Please share something we can't find out intuitively on our own.
