that is very kind of you to say.. your comment reminded me of when I went to the good guys car show in Des Monies.. a couple drove 1,000 mi from Virginia.. just to meet me! I was blown away by that but he said.. "you are just like the rest of us! haha.. well.. I wouldn't know how to be any other way..

Sensible move Ken, if you need it then you can add it later as you say. You could do with a GOFA to save stretching for things. I think they are available from the same place where you buy a sky hook. Cheers and love the new nose. Ian

I liked the Live Feed with the GoPro. I noticed there was a 20 second delay in your phone audio and the audio we were hearing live. Then, the audio from the phone went back through the GoPro and seemed to slow it down. So, the more noise you made, the worse the live feed got. It was like feedback, but not (I had no issues listening in my headphones). And, I had the privilege of being the only Moderator in the live chat! Anyway, I thought you'd appreciate the feedback. That nose fit pretty good, for coming off of an other truck.

Cool Waylon great progress and good call the the radiator what and run the Waylon Wire endurance track testing. LOL you metal bending brought memories of my wood shop days 60 some years ago, the wood shop teacher was asked to refurbish some metal items, I volunteered - his comment when I was done if I did half as good with the wood I would be a great craftsman. WOW caught Josh shaped shifted into a bigfoot creature early in the clip -- LOL

Waylon , was listening to you video and we used to have similar issues on our sand rails with a water pump motor, and radiator in the back behind the motor, if you reduce the size of supply side hose and keep the original size return hose you’re overheating issue will diminish
@1963impala2drWaylonWire27 күн бұрын
thank you for that info! I am not giving up because I know they run the rads in the back on the mud trucks too..so by reducing the supply..does that allow the water to stay in the rad long enough for it to cool? I had a theory about that haha.. but maybe totally unfounded.
@1963impala2drWaylonWire27 күн бұрын
got to thinking UT OH! its 1.5 inch coming out of the intake..and 2 inch going into the water pump.. so isn't it already set up as you suggest? pardon me if I'm missing something.. im not the sharpest tool in the shed
@jcaw195826 күн бұрын
Waylon we found that reducing the supply from pump down to 1 inch will prevent cavitation at the pump , also with stock pump and thermostat. Pull the cover off the pump and install backing plate to the rear of the impeller if not I Enclosed, good luck . Always learning something!
@jcaw195826 күн бұрын
@@1963impala2drWaylonWire I also forgot to mention out from t/stat to rad and back from rad to pump is direction of flow
@1963impala2drWaylonWire26 күн бұрын
@@jcaw1958 yes, I'm aware of which way the water flows haha.. hey thanks so much for getting back to me.. If i continue to have issues, I will reduce the flow from 1.5 in to 1 in. thats really good info! do you think there will still be a cavitation issue with the electric water pump?

What does Waylon wire use for heat out in the shop garage and what’s the btus your heat puts out
@1963impala2drWaylonWire26 күн бұрын
Hi Mason.. its a small electric heater hanging at about 10 feet up on one wall.. after 30 years, I'm sorry I don't recall the "btu's" I'll look for you and see if its on the unit. my shop minus the office and Victors apartment is 30x40. it does a good job.

Do 2 long narrow oil coolers or trans coolers, one each side into a common pipe so you have the flow rate...
