Im 71 and i do feel good. I have been exercising for 50years. I just found out i have osteopenia and I was so surprised. I also do weights.

Don't let the osteopenia thing panic you. That's what they want. Keep doing what you're doing. They're comparing your bones to a 25- or 30-year-old woman.

Osteopenia is natural at our age. I'm 68 and I don't worry about it. I do strength train gor lots of reasons.

Not everyone can tolerate dairy. And POST MENOPAUSAL WOMEN NEED ESTROGEN - yes it does help prevent osteopenia. Female ObGyn's are recommending estradiol patches - easy for any MD to prescribe. Wish I had learned a lot earlier about this. Had severe insomnia for twenty years until I discovered estradiol patches.

I love organic whole milk but I cut it by half using oat milk. I just find nut milks alone aren’t creamy enough.

We are all different and have different nutritional needs. I shouldn’t have got OP if exercise/diet/weight bearing prevented it!

Lots of people get OP. The dexa scan compares our bones to that of a 30 year old woman. The dexa scan was created by Merck after they created a drug that builds "cheap bone". They needed a way to "tell women", "You need our drug". I've been convinced that humans don't have different nutritional needs. This is after 25+ years of following people who are older than I am to see what their actual long-term results are - mostly doctors who eat this way AND who work with patients (thousands of patients over a number of years) to get them eating whole plant foods only, and as these people get into their 80s and 90s, they take no meds for the one-or-more comorbidities that meat-eaters and dairy-eaters have - heart disease, high blood pressure, type II diabetes, etc. Every bit of exercise, better diet, weight-bearing, etc., builds up bones in the correct, and most healthy, way.

Lots of factors are involved heart disease, high bp and diabtetes. Its not always about meat or dairy. Lots of people eat it and do not develop any of these conditions. Thats a very big generalization.

I'm a whole plant foods person for 25 years. The people I've been following who are now getting into their 80s and 90s are still going strong - strong bodies, strong minds.

I feel tired nearly every day , i watched your show with Homeopathy for stenosis , i have 2 slipped discs , a bit of stenosis and a bit of scoliosis after a really bad accident 6 years ago , i used your advice for Stenosis and it really has helped s o much ,i want to contact the Homeopath you had on your show recently , she was amazing and i hope you'll be able to help me , i can't thank you enough for everything you do , you look amazing , i'm 61 so i need your advice ! i've started using Natto and Miso and i'm going to make my own Miso soon , thank you so much , linda , Wales xxx

I’m 60 and feel pretty good most day. I walk 2 miles everyday without any pain. Do you have any thoughts on Celtic salt and its health benefits?

I so agree with you but am inclined to have little spinach and chard.Dr Joel Fuhrman is who’s diet I follow a nutrient dence diet.My bones are great

What do you say about the effects of xhemo on the bones? I had it at 32. Recently had a dexa scan. Told i had osteoporosis. Take fosamax. Now have had mastectomy looking at chemo... How do i protect my bones!?

Chemo adds a complicated layer, and you are taking fosamax, further complicating things. I think your situation requires a professional who can address multiple things you have going on. I believe you had an osteo thumb operation, so it's not just down to diet is it. In fact diet helps but will not cure the problem, fact

Fact indeed! Not one mention of genetics. I grew up on a farm eating the most nutritious foods from day one. Love veggies, cheeses, local meats etc. Also spent my entire childhood running around the farm, then my teen years with dance. AT 63 I've been diagnosed with spinal and hip osteo with high risk for fracture. My friend was a gymnast into her late teens, and being Italian, had a Mediterranean diet, also has osteo. What do we have in common? Moms and grand-moms with the disease. Be careful folks. Diet and exercise are very important but in the end, genetics wins out...sadly...and medications can be life savers.

I disagree about dairy. My endocrinologist who specializes in bone health said the anti-dairy is flat out wrong.

Also, my maternal grandmother lived to be 95 and never broke a bone. My mom is 96 and always drank plenty of milk. She hasn't broken a bone either. Maybe genetically strong bones but I think a healthy all around diet is key.

Meat, Meat, no grains, some veggies. I was totally eating veggies when I found out I Have Osteoporosis. Keto or Carnivore are the best choices for building bones. Do not eat Oxalates…except for Avocado.

Actually meat(protein) is a major oxalate cause. I had kidney stones because of eating high meat low carb. I also had a stroke that has left me handicapped to this day. I went whole food plant exclusive in 2019 eating lots of spinach and have not had a kidney stone attack since.

I agree. I added more meat but no too much and good quality whey protein isolate with no sugar no cholesterol. I think balance is a key issue here. Plus i did a lot more other things and significantly reversed my OP in 18 months and it keeps getting better. I eat tons of kale and collard greens too.

Here’s my problem: A year ago I did what you recommended: taking Fullscript Vitamin Code Grow Bone System. BUT it’s been out of stock for months!! My question is what are you taking instead??
