This makes me wonder, do this characters go 1vs1 bosses in their free time?

I watched full 18 minutes of this and still have no clue of how this works. I didn't need an instruction to tell me to buy snacks, I need one to tell me how to actually play those. Can players just come up with their own moves or do you get them a list? Do the characters move around the map like in board games (1 point on a die = 1 square)?

After watching JaidenAnimation's and honestly just hearing so so much about dnd (plus me being a complete lover of fantasy and theatre and story planning and charcater lore making and story writing and.. y'know, basically I love all these things seperately and dnd brings them all together. ) in general made me really want to play it my friends on discord but I had no idea where and how to start, there's so many rules and things about dhd which is overwhelming but im willing to try because the concept is just so enticing to me-

what if i made a faction of dragonkin that are scared of feral dragons called the feral hunters they hate the Harpers for spying on there empire finding out there draconic in nature which causes attack raids from the harpers the feral hunters send out kill teams in large numbers of elite dragon infantry that use field cannon artillery carried by ground drakes that act like horses with attack drakes the size of dogs with magic tech armor on all there troops have magic tech armor made of diamond and iron and also have mines that are full red stone ore a ore that makes all there tech work they have clock work anthro dragon bots that mine for the stuff with drills and pickaxes mounted to there arms and also attack back with molten breath attack it spits lava at you they will also attack kobolds on sight also feral dragons and harpers will be terminated feral hunter dragonkin have a hard time with kobolds the cult of the dragon send to attack there mines with one feral dragon leading the horde of bolds they are also godless dragon people they dont even know who tiamat or behamut are there just a myth to there people the clock work bots have dead feral hunters souls inside them from the dragon men and women who died of old age sickness and war

Was just invited to play a roll. Roll20 is what they are playing on. The DM is creating my character, fighter. Don’t know any of the other players, just the DM. Any advice? 😊

Once, I did a Mutant Chronicles conversion to Savage Worlds in about 4-5 hours and the game play felt like Marvel's Infinity War! Savage Worlds really is the best system I've ever used. I know there's already a Mutant Chronicles setting for Savage Worlds, but my conversion felt more tailored to my vision of the setting. My players loved it even though they had never played an RPG before.

Man you spoke for almost 15 minutes and did not give me a single reason to actually play this game. Basically, it sounds like the core mechanics are incredibly generic/rudimentary, and in order to actually do *anything* I would have to buy a shitload of supplements? So I pay more than I usually would for an RPG, and then end up having to do more work than I usually would before I get to play anything.

No epic level artificer? Interesting choice (unless it hadn’t been released yet this is an old video). My usual step if the group gets to 20 (but the game hasn’t ended yet for reasons) is to make them multiclass, extra attack stacks and spell casters get a new spell list starting at 1 (ending with them usually getting 8 lv 1 slots or some times even 6 2nd level slots but I haven’t seen multiple 3rd level slots). It usually doesn’t cause problems though since the highest it’s gotten is 27, and I only need to deal with that during a boss fight. But my leveling is weird so I imagine no one else has that problem.

Sigh.... Wish I could play more TTRPG without queueing too much. :v

Just used SW once while playing RIFTS, it was Meh. I specially disliked the messy soup of the RIFTS setting, and then the system was just weird, but not exciting weird, just different for the sake of it.

Good description of the game. Some videos talk a lot but don't say much. But this was good. 9:20 Yeah, about those dice... they *all* hurt when you step on them fyi.

do you have any examples of how you can add on to the system and really "customize" it? What about savage worlds makes it easier to customize? How would you compare savage worlds to other RPG systems that try to do the same thing? Loved the video btw.

is the way hmm. All my friends from school, not many to begin with, have all moved on and we hardly talked and see each other. Also they were never into stuff like this so i never had the chance to play. I want to play this but seems kind of overwhelming.

If you are looking for a truely terrifing experance i would recomend little fears especally happy birthday little fears.
