Impressive. Basically this guy says: “Judging by my experience and even when I haven’t tried Atkins and don’t have a clue about biochemistry or basic nutrition, Carnivore is better than Atkins” All of his repeating “reasons” to pick Carnivore is: “I’m lazy or didn’t finish elementary school, so I rather avoiding simple maths and since Atkins was design by a doctor, that from the beginning makes it sound too complicated to me.” People, please, take care and don’t follow just crazy KZbinrs trying look like: “this is the ultimate thing”… By the way: human has never been fully carnivore in history and it is not prepared for such thing. We can be omnivorous, we can lean on vegetables or meat during seasons but not strictly one or the other.

Your pan for sear is not hot enough...why not cast iron as opposed to teflon?

Love your content! New carnivore here sooo different. Was vegan for so long it’s definitely quite a change. Miss being vegan, but it made me so sick.

I heard you should hard boil the duck eggs bc you can cook away the protein and nutrients too easily otherwise. Had duck eggs today - very filling tastier can tell it’s better for you - hard to find 😢

But honey IS sugar that will spike insulin. Are you sure someone looking to loose weight should be having honey? It will definitely kick them out of ketosis ?

What about adding a little bit of bacon or ground pork?

If you want a added bonus you could always sear it up first then throw it in the crock pot and have a more textured variance in your meat. :)
Very informative, thank you ! I am interested in renewing my kitchen tools, and frying pans are on top of the list. Could I kindly ask you what is the exact measurement of the sole (diameter of the surface in contact with the heating source) of that skillet ? Le Creuset are not very clear about this spec, and I'm not too sure I have a large enough heating plate on my stove. Millions of thanks in advance if you can ! 🙏
@BrokenCurtainАй бұрын
I have the 23cm version of this skillet, which I think is the same size as the one in the video. The diameter at the bottom is 17.5 cm on the outside (the part that lays on the stove) and 18 cm on the inside. At the top, the diameter is 24 cm on the outside and 23 cm on the inside. The skillet is also available in smaller sizes.

Omnivore diet works best for me. My grandson just harvested a nice bull elk. Tonight I am eating liver, heart, and kidney cooked with onion, garlic and spices. I can’t wait, I love organ meats. I love my veggies and fruits too. I follow a Taoist type diet where I eat more meat during the fall and winter and lots of fruits and veggies during the summer. The ancient wisdom is the best! ☯️☸️☯️

No way would I put honey in any carnivore recipe, it completely breaks your ketosis and would take you days to get back on track. If you really have to have sweetness then use a carb free sweetener. There are several of these to choose from: monkfruit, stevia, erythritol. I use erythritol or just a few drops of sucralose - which has a tiny amount of carbs in but it's really minimal. Some people cannot tolerate any of them for various reasons so they should avoid them altogether, and some people find that any form of sweetness breaks their discipline and makes them fall off the carnivore wagon, so they just have to put up with things not being sweet. Promoting the use of honey in this recipe is simply not on. It is cheating big time. You can't call it carnivore.

Nice recipe. We have been using Kerrigold for years. I make something similar for breakfast except I use grass-fed beef or ground lamb. I do not eat PIG. Just found your podcast and love it.
