I'm on my 3rd week of carnivore diet. Lost around 15lbs and 3lbs of that is fat. Liver is my favorite, I eat around 2lbs a week. Cast iron with beef tallow get a nice crust on it and add salt when done. Hmm delicious! Good luck everyone, 60lbs more to go.

I bet we’re neck and neck. I’m on day 28. Finally tried liver for the first time. Had it with bacon and eggs. Wasn’t terrible. Still working on “growing up” my palate 😜

I'm on day 23, I have a wide pallette and I love all kinds of meats but I'm starting lion diet slowly. Lost 8lbs of just fat so far, total weight 20lbs

@@romanianredneckbbq that’s awesome 👏 👏. I’ve been doing meat, fish, water, salt, eggs, and butter. Most challenging part for me has been getting enough fat. I’m down 10 lbs actual, i.e., after being fully “watered” lol. Gonna try adding dairy (aside from butter) back in on day 31. So close!

Hi there, I have a very mid occasional eczema so I’m curious on how you got to this place of healing. If you can share your diet and is Liver your only 🤫 secret??? Thanks so much!

@@intothelight3997 Liver helps a lot with sardines bc omega's and staying away from sweets, bread, nuts, seeds, beans, oats if you can. Try not to use vegetable oils just animal fats and get good sleep! Stress or lack of sleep use to cause flare ups for me along with eating bad. If you eat mostly clean then every once in a while have a cheat day you should be okay. Consume as much pro & prebiotics as possible. Kefir, water kefir, kombucha, sauerkraut, kimchi, yogurt, raw milk and unpasteurized cheese. Fruit is great too! Eczema is also linked with leaky gut from bad diet causing perforations in the belly. The little pro-pre biotic solders will help repair that so undigested food and toxins aren't released into your blood stream and trying to escape through the skin at eczema sites.

So how much gram liver i could eat daily or for a week?

I don't think the "anti-fatigue factor" in liver can be vitamin K2, because I've gotten large amounts of K2 in the past from various other sources, and it never had the anti-fatigue effect that liver has on me.

I was forced to eat liver as a kid and hated it. I’m 50 now and getting into carnivore. Should I still soak liver in milk before cooking?
@RV-there-Yet Жыл бұрын
Same here, & the consequences for not eating it were severe. These days, I take a dessicated, un-defatted supplement~ which is dehydrated liver in capsule form. I realize it's not as ideal as fresh liver, but it's a lot better than none at all, imho. *I have heard that many people do soak it in whole milk or cream, & others who slice it super thin, bread it in crushed pork rinds & fry it in bacon fat.

I soak mine in buttermilk. It is supposed to cut the harsh flavor. Soak for 12 hours or maybe just overnight and you won't have any nasty flavor. I have always liked eating liver.
