Thank you! I followed your metod and upgraded my 13 yr old home built computer. Processer: Intel core I7 3960x 3.30 ghz s-2011. It failed all the requirements. windows 10 was installed on C: drive and Users on D: All settings were kept in place . The upgrade was a no brainer.

The simplest way is this Download the usb version of W11 on a usb device Open the usb folder and create a txt file and name it start.txt open the txt file and write setup /product server and save the file Rename it to start.bat and run it upgrade your W10 and keep all files from W10 Perfector made it simpler for you

I am trying to upgrade from 21H2 and followed the instruction but it still fails at the checking phase and not getting to the accepting license phase. Even thoughI have used the /product server option. The error message: Setup has encountered a critical error. Sorry we are having trouble determining if your PC can run Windows Server. Error code 0x80888002 - 0x40008 What is wrong? I have earlier converted the the disk MBR to GPT with mbr2gpt.exe. Could that be related< But the OS could boot without any issue thereafter.

What a great and helpful video! For some reason my not very old Lenovo X1 Yoga with Win11 and all the required hardwear just stopped updating at 21H2 in October and I noticed it first now. At first I looked into Microsoft’s pages, but became only very confused. The problem seemed to be just too demanding for me to solve on my own (I’m 65 and not super tech savvy). But after watching this video a couple of times I realised it is totally doable because the instructions are so clear. And so it was! Everything went exactly like in the video, and now I have 24H2, just like that. Thank you so much for youf help - you must be an IT angel! ❤

Have you tried installing Windows 11 on intel based Macbooks? Is it possible to do it with bootcamp?

I have taken the necessary precautions with regards to static etc. But on three separate occasions have blown my motherboard when trying to flash my bios using ch341a?

I have a 7040 as well. If anyone is interested in buying these, mine did not come with an external wifi antenna, or anything populating the wifi m.2 slot. So make sure it's got the connectors you want. Still a solid mini-pc for a home server or a media center for a tv.
