Is there any issue with having a beard as a pilot. I see various things about this online. I even saw a flight school with "grooming rules" and they didn't want beards. I don't plan on working for a commercial airline, but I am definitely interested in becoming a pilot. Some sites even claim that the FAA has regulations because of oxygen masks.

It has been my decade long personal experience that there is so much discrimination out there in the aviation sector! For example, I had been trying to take piloting lessons in rural Le Mars, Iowa, where I lived for 11 years, for 7 years and I kept being told by our local airport staff that our local airport didn't have a plane that was heavy enough to carry myself (who weighs about 350 pounds these days) and another individual for recreational flights as a passenger or as a student pilot who was interested in flight training and gaining the several thousand hours that one legally has to log to become a commercial pilot. Then, in a totally sadistic twist of fate, 4 local people died in an aircraft that flew right out of that same Le Mars, Iowa airport and the the guy who was flying the plane was flying with one of his students and two passengers on a hunting trip when the plane crashed because the pilot in command of the aircraft had a heart attack during the fatal flight, however, I later found out that the aircraft was leaking carbon monoxide and all 4 passengers were found to have carbon monoxide in their system during their autopsy. It just made me think that, these people who were operating this aircraft could have made enough money to properly maintain the aircraft and those 4 people would be alive today if they had been more willing to make a profit from recreational aircraft flights and flight training than they were willing to lie to and discriminate against a local individual who was already a 30+ year veteran of the transportation industry who had been recommended to take recreational flights and flight training from that facility by members of the facility's staff's own family members.

But the ? Is if the mortgage was in the seller name would he be able to get another mortgage since you took over that one?

Well!!!….you really don’t need to be a rich dude to get hold of your PPL (Private Pilot Licence) all you need is up to $8K + take your Cat 1 medical test + Get your online learning books and materials and start your ground school as early as possible + Take your written and oral test as early as possible + Take your Checkride test + Do a minimum of 40hrs fly time (20hrs divided into Night flight + Cross country flight + 5x takes and landings daylight and Night + 20hrs SOLO Cross country with 4 different airports to land and take off and make it back safely to RTB (Return To Base) with an average of from start to finish takes about 6 to 9months as a minimum requirement if you want to get were this KZbinr Pilote is. Once you get ur PPL your good to go and your qualified to flight your family and friends around for leisure’s. However, if you’re want to become a commercial pilot then you will need at least another 2yrs additional training including the cost associated with whoever is providing your training with a minimum requirement of 2000hrs flying time to stand any chance of landing a job as a 1st Officer with all major airlines.

Also, off subject, some country’s make you leave their country, like Saudi, while on a tourist visa, in order to change your visa to something like a residency or work visa, is this the case for the UAE. I disagree with you stating that the UAE including Dubai has zero crime. Have you checked on the Slavery going on against black workers and other 3 rd world countries. The killing of houses workers and yet people are praising these Arab countries. It is literally sickening. Manual labourers not being paid for transforming these countries for Arabs?

To me the best flight school ever is L3harris in Sanford Orlando …. Trust me it’s the best you can find . And second is skyborne in Vero beach, they connected to British airways directly after training with them as first officer position with BA ….. and other partner airlines …. You can get FAA and EASA/ ATPL Done in both schools…. Highly recommend L3 or SKYBORNE. If you don’t like these schools, you are the problem .
