Евгению Кисину, исполняющему ...... пятый полонез Шопена Возмущение в пространстве затихает, как и звук. Годы праздности и странствий наверху, вокруг, внизу приведут нас всех однажды к пониманию всего. Что ты делаешь? Я стражду? Жаждешь? Жажду... Слов? Снегов... что укроют все печали от и до на "тыщу" лет, а весной корабль причалит, и пришлют тебе билет. И в открытом бурном море посреди знакомых звёзд ты излечишься от боли. Звук навылет. Слово в лёт. В лёд воткнётся острым носом твой корабль. Не слышно треск. Этим звуком нету сносу, даже если звук гротеск. Чёрных клавиш, белых клавиш нескончаемый поток. Ты страдаешь а не славишь. Или... Славишь? Слов чуток приземляться на ладони, что подставлены лучам звёзд. Печаль всегда бездонна. Ты поверь что по плечам станет этот свет однажды. Лёд крошится. Тает ночь. Кто-нибудь может мне объяснить, почему Кисин стал гораздо менее интересным музыкантом, чем был в 16 лет? Почему игра стала такой роботизированной, без заложенных эмоций в музыку? Звучит обрывисто, кусками, тогда как в 16 лет это была сама музыка

She always gives value for money, never skimping on the encores . Her playing is so demanding of our attention when appropriate nd so fluid and gentle at other times, she is a truly great pianist.

I always start with the aria followed by variations 3 and 26 to get a sense of the player’s technical prowess and artistry. I stopped after 26. What an absolute nonsense! It’s the musical equivalent of a man determined to finish before his wife mentions the word clitoris.

I find her outfit degrading…as if female pianist have to fall back to “sell” their body to gain some attention. The times of totally confident performers like Martha Argerich who shine through their performances and not the level of “nudity” on display seems to be over…unfortunately!
