doesn't look any different/better than many Phantom kits produced in the past 10_20 years

You haven’t seen one in person. Which manufacturer’s F-4C would you put up against it?
@TheMidwestModelShop8 сағат бұрын
It’s a greatly improved model over what is out there. Or are you generically referring to the fact that it “looks” like an F-4C? In which case why would anyone ever make another model kit of anything once one was made?

Great job Ben. Been watching from the Arizona days. I must say your content has come a million miles from then. Inspired me to build the Missouri. Keep up the great work.

I wish ZM would release some RN/RAF Phantoms. The old Hasegawa kits are getting hard to find.

Kinda sounds like you're maybe not the best person to be reviewing a Phantom

Just 3 days ago picked up the 1/48 Tamiya F-4B. A nice kit. Was a bit impatient to pick-up a new model, should have looked for this one. Might have chosen it instead. But Tamiya's kits are solid so it will be a fun build, too.

Hey Ben! This is Brandon. Since shapeways is out of business, have you thought about 3D printing this forward bulkhead? I think it would be awesome and I would buy one! The kit bulkhead just isn’t the greatest. Thanks Ben! Take care!

As always your products arrive here in Australia pristine and very well protected. Very swift shipping and I’m stoked. Have run out of 1/200 products to order so hanging out for eventual CV6 planes other than those already on sale. I’m patient and I know one day they shall be in your list. Keep up the great work.

my only problem is ive only seen ships that are plastic and then these thin wood decks when my 1/200 scale battleship is all wood and the deck is solid wood and has tacts holding it down or it as gluded down ive been working on this since i was in 7th grade now im like in my 40s lol bought it from a friend who was going to toss it so i bought it from him to see if i could save it and its made by dumas but all hand built parts single prop single shaft runs on candle powered battery so it has 2 motors with fuese and the back deck where the turrets are it has a cut away in the back some one tryed to replace the shaft with a servo but failed but its considered a musem style ship missing alot of parts so forth but just wondering how to replace a deck like that
@scottgauley772215 күн бұрын
Great job! What kind of wood glue do you recommend using to help stick down the deck?

I used gorilla wood glue.

Hopefully on the F-4C they fixed the seam line on the back of the aircraft and moved the seams to panel lines. Thats the MAJOR issue with that kit. Great video!!

Love the F-4’s, I built a really nice 1/32 scale one years ago. When it comes to model aircraft it’s 1/32 scale or no scale for me. Except for my SR-71’s, unfortunately they only make that up to 1/48 scale.

Hi so glad to see you back and to hear you are doing 1/350 US navy personnel will definately be ordering a set or 3 for my USS Essex, would you also be downsizing the interior material sets that you did for the enterprise? Can we preorder an upgrade set for the 1/200 fletcher as I have already preordered one and am waiting its delivery. Just to let you know that UPS charges a whopping $40.00 fee at customs in canada.
@TheMidwestModelShop18 күн бұрын
That’s a bummer. I have no idea about these things. I have customs paperwork that I fill out and there’s default information that Shopify fills out. I guess the two certainties in life apply no matter where you live.
