Wish I'd listened to him when he was alive. He's spot on.

It’s interesting that he didn’t recognize his own contradictions. For instance, he suggested that taxpayers don’t benefit from paying for higher education for people other than themselves. In this explanation, he admits he benefitted from that structure while seeming to forget that earlier in the speech he suggested that society has benefitted from his work. The benefits of education go well beyond an individual’s earning potential. Whether it’s doctors, teachers, engineers, journalists, or any other profession, any individual’s work inherently has an impact on others in society.

Y'all should study or reserch something that's called "Islamic economy" very intresting, especially in the early days, to be more accurate during the time of khalifa Omer Ibn Alkhatab, I'd say it's the first government system that had the concept of social support, tax the rich to help the poor, fairly.

People pay taxes to the government so that they can do what the majority want. The rich want the government to serve them, who are the minority, who dont want to pay taxes . A country that is run by capitalism is contrary to democracy. Capitalism needs to be regulated by the government , otherwise you have a fachist run country in which is never good for the majority of citizens.

You don't get fascism without a large, powerful, centralized, and regulating government. What you are asking for is for fascism to happen.

3:04 Considering the influence of lobbying, the average wealth of American presidents before getting into office and the actual policies that were introduced over the last decades, the word "sometimes" in this claim should be thought over. 5:54 So to summarise: It is unethical to tax the poor to help the middle class and the poor. Therefore, instead of reducing the tax burden on the poor and increasing it on the rich, we should lower taxes on everyone to help no one. Wonderful. 7:40 Wow, now that is just gold. The poor pay taxes for longer. True. But by nature of being poor, they also pay less taxes each year of their working life, so the sum of taxes paid is probably lower at the end of their working life. The poor have a lower life expectancy. True. So the solution is not to tax richer people to improve healthcare for the poor, but instead to, again, lower taxes to help no one. 8:51 What is the definition of "the people who pay the taxes"? If it includes anyone who pays taxes at all, basically any social program qualifies. I give the example of unemployment benefits in Germany, or probably any other country for that matter. These benefits are not only paid to people who are unemployed but also to the people who have a very low income, so working and paying taxes, one always has a higher income than people who don't work. This has been confirmed even by employer-oriented economic research institutes. Also, any student aid program qualifies, because most students while studying have an income of $0, so everyone who pays taxes naturally has a higher income.

He reminds me of the Scarecrow from The Wizard of Oz. Without the support of wealthy families like the Rothschilds and other greedy families, he would not have been able to sustain his position. The money he receives is analogous to the piece of paper that made the Scarecrow wise in his own eyes, as well as those who follow his trickle-down economics philosophy. Do you recall the unjust policies of Reaganomics? He was the mastermind behind them. In essence, he is propped up by the wealthy, and without their support, he would not have been able to survive.

Milton Friedman was a sociopathic individual who preached profit maximization and advocated that businesses' sole responsibility is to increase profits at the expense of broader social welfare considerations. His demented misguided ideologies have fostered a short-term mindset in businesses that prioritize profits over long-term sustainability and the well-being of stakeholders beyond shareholders.

I see a lot of the contents here are from people who have consumed the democrat Kool-Aid. They need to view the actual timeline of government programs enacted in the 1930's. These programs had the so-called good intentions, but in reality, they had disastrous results. The democrat historians have judged them on the so-called good intentions but have neglected to give the failed results.

I see the point of milton here about equal pay between men and women. This is the situation when quota is out of the question. But When there are both qoutas and equal payment laws, then the employer has no choice but to hire said minority regardless of their competence. Is it fair to employers, i would say yes but temporarily.
