Kaepernick isn’t I’m fact terrible at his job, that’s simply factually inaccurate.
@CJ-wh3zy2 жыл бұрын
@Brandon Landry Brandon, that is your interpretation of Ben Shapiro's words and your interpretation is wrong - your 'reading comprehension' is also wrong. Ben Shapiro, literally said “Kaepernick is 5 seconds away from being cut by The San Francisco 49ers for sucking at his job. So he wanted to make this headline, and that way if he gets cut, he can turn around and say, ‘The real reason they cut me was not because I’m a really crappy football player. The real reason that they cut me is because I’m such a standard bearer for Black Lives Matter.’” Statistically, Kaepernick is/was an elite quarterback and the stats prove it. On yet another issue, Ben Shapiro gives his opinion without knowing the statistics. If you want me to educate you on Kaepernick's stats, let me know. Ben Shapiro was not saying the thing that makes Kaepernick suck was that he kneeled during the anthem. Ben Shapiro believes Colin Kaepernick is a 'crappy football player' - Meaning athletically and statistically. Again, Shapiro obviously has not researched Kaep's stats...and I doubt Ben Shapiro has ever played a minute of organized sports in his life - I doubt he knows the first thing about what it's like to play with others for a common goal.
@CJ-wh3zy2 жыл бұрын
@Brandon Landry Wait, so you're standing by the notion that Ben Shapiro was saying Colin Kaepernick sucked because he kneeled? That Ben Shapiro doesn't think Kaep sucks as a quarterback? If you really think that, I can show you other videos where Ben Shapiro, literally says Kaep sucked as a quarterback. That my friend, will show you that your ability to comprehend things is blinded by your ideology. And brace yourself for some deep stats my friend. If you did own a team and were in charge of getting athletes based on their stats, you would be horrible my friend! Let me correct you on your stats and inform you on others: In his final season, at age 29, he had a passer rating of 90.7! His closest competitors, David Garrard, Jim Miller, Neil Lomax, Kevin Kolb, Tim Couch and Robert Griffin III were forced out because of injuries. [Jake Locker and Kyle Orton famously quit]. NONE of those players were forced out because they weren't 'good enough.' Take those guys out, and Colin Kaepernick with his passer rating was all by himself. He was healthy, his numbers were solid, he wasn't in trouble with the law, he didn't have any substance abuse issues - none of that. The ONLY quarterback that was near him was Joey Harrington. The two can hardly be compared as Colin Kaepernick's numbers were far superior. And as far as passer rating, Kaep's worst season was better than Harrington's best season. Over the last 30 years, among quarterbacks who made at least 50 starts, Kaepernick ranks #17 and Harrington ranks #104! These two are not in the same category, not even close! And yet they were treated the same way. Kaep's team's record probably worked against him - In 2016 the 49ers were 1 - 10 with Kaep at quarterback. But we also have to remember that the Niners, in regards to points allowed had the worst ranked defense in the NFL. When ranking the worst defenses of the last quarter century, along side the passer rating of their quarterbacks, Kaep ranks THIRD on the list...only Kurt Warner and Drew Brees performed better than him. The Niners were bad, but it wasn't his fault. Now, passer rating, by no means is the end all, be all of a quarterback's value...so let's look at a few other things. Interception percentage: Let's take every quarterback in the last 30 years that has thrown the ball at least 500 times...Kaep is at the VERY FRONT of the pack. If he is a former quarterback, he is THE MOST INTERCEPTION ADVERSE quarterback of ALL TIME. And if you plot him against active quarterbacks, he's still phenomenal...only ONE guy has more attempts and a lower pick rate than Kaep...and that is Aaron Rodgers. And his running ability...Kaep in one year, eeked out more yards per rush, 6.8, than any other quarterback. With his "Adjusted net yards per pass attempt" - Kaep has been in 6 playoff games, which is more than most, and he has the THIRD HIGHEST "Adjusted net yards per pass attempt" of ANYONE...just behind Drew Brees and Dak Prescott (who at that time, had only played one playoff game). Look at the company he shares...Matt Ryan, Philip Rivers, Russell Wilson and in the same zip code as Aaron Rodgers. He's in a crowd of Pro-Bowlers...and Kaep, the guy right in the middle of that stat (#28 - almost exactly in the middle), can't get a job! So he was in the middle of that stat...is that mediocre? Yes. The NFL has decided that Kaep is not worth a roster spot. But do you know who they did give a roster spot to? A bunch of guys below him - despite worse numbers: Jacoby Brissett, Cam Newton, Tom Savage, Joe Flacco, Jay Cutler, Blake Bortles, Carson Wentz, Case Keenum, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Paxton Lynch, Geno Smith, Josh McCown, Brock Osweiler, Blaine Gabbert, EJ Manuel, Matt Cassel, Scott Tolzien, Jared Goff and Drew Stanton. You simply don't know stats and football if you think the reason Kaep wasn't in the NFL because of his abilities. Kaep is and was always a PHENOMENAL athlete and was forced out of the NFL because of his political views. You can say all the "maybes" and conjecture all you want. Instead of trying to find ways to make Kaep look like he was a "terrible qb", why don't you look at and research, instead, the way The United States and its people treated athletes who spoke up for those that couldn't. Look at what people said about Muhammad Ali at the time. Or how The USA treated Tommie Smith and John Carlos. At the time, Smith and Carlos were demonized...Smith and Carlos were subject to abuse and they and their families received death threats. And now, they are seen as heroes for standing up for our black brothers and sisters who were treated as lesser. This is what Akaash Maharaj, a member of the Canadian Olympic Committee and head of Canada's Olympic equestrian team, said about Smith, Carlos and Peter Norman (the third person on the podium in The Olympics the day of their silent protest), "...they have been inspirations to generations of athletes like myself, who can only aspire to their example of putting principle before personal interest. It was their misfortune to be far greater human beings than the leaders of the IOC of the day." I PROMISE you, one day, Kaep will be looked at very similarly... Mic drop!

@Brandon Landry Brandon Landry: A passer rating of 90.7 is garbage. CJ: Now, passer rating, by no means is the end all, be all of a quarterback's value...so let's look at a few other things. Brandon Landry: "He throws very few touchdowns and too many interceptions." CJ: Let's take every quarterback in the last 30 years that has thrown the ball at least 500 times...Kaep is at the VERY FRONT of the pack. Brandon Landry: "...he’s got some of the worst stats in football for a QB" CJ's Response: Show me 31 quarterbacks that had better stats than him in 2017...and back it up with stats. Brandon Landry: "...meanwhile you run your mouth about race" CJ's Response: Show me one thing that I said was false...just ONE! Brandon Landry: "You gave no deep stats, you’re just talking about comparing kaep to other garbage quarterbacks. Compare him to Brady or Brees. I dare you." CJ's Response: I NEVER said Kaep was the best quarterback...but he was definitely good enough to be in the league. You show me where I said he was the best...and then show me stats where there are 31 quarterbacks statistically better than him in 2017...I DARE YOU! Now, are you still going to deny that you misunderstood Ben Shapiro? That you interpreted his messages wrong.
@CJ-wh3zy2 жыл бұрын
@Brandon Landry Let me just ask you two very simple questions Brandon. 1) Are you saying in 2017 and beyond, Kaepernick, if he didn't kneel wouldn't have been in the league? 2) Are you also saying that America didn't treat black athletes that spoke up for others with negativity? Like Tommie Smith and John Carlos?
