How can you walk out the same day without a healing process? This is an important question and I’m asking because I plan on getting all in for LP2. I would like to know if I’m having surgery full implant all in for whatever it’s called and plan to go to a wedding two weeks later will appear compromised during my healing process.

Thank you for the implant video series. I’m trying to find a very experienced implant specialist in Northern California. I had a consult with an extremely well trained periodontist, but after he spoke with my dentist his office told me that my dentist would be able to do the implants…his son does them but I’m was not comfortable with the consultation because he was offended when I asked how many and success rate or failure percent and if I needed bone graft and if a synthetic graft is available. So I’m currently looking for an oral surgeon or periodontist, I need 3 or 4 implants. Any suggestions?

When you do an All-On-Four…. how many implants do you typically use per fixture? You stated that you would personally prefer 8 implants per one piece solid fixture, whether it be FP1 or FP3. When you call it an All-On-Four… you don’t mean only four implants do you? Is that more of a name for the fixture? I’ve been to several consultations and it seems I had to talk them into using six implants per fixture for more stability. Now I understand why you may want 8 implants per fixture. I’m told I have a lot of jaw bone and it is thick.

Doc, if you like the brick look…. you should have used real brick. 😂 Block walls with brick-ties in the concrete mud that cements blocks together, small air gap, then exterior wall of real brick. Won’t fade from sun and extremely durable.

This is expertise consulting by Dr. and Prosthodontist. $20K sounds like a pretty low number when doing Top and Bottom arches. Looking at the quality of work one might have guessed. Doing it the right way is always more expensive especially if you do it the cheaper way first.

Curious if this surgery was done guided or not again so so many factors that contribute to success & failure , clearly the more level & balanced the multi unit abutments are the better ……. Could remake the prosthesis decrease A/P spread to 1st molar ( not 2nd ) change out abutments ( leveling across the alveolar ridge ) that alone could b a dramatic improvement ,hard to say definitively that the implants have been placed in the wrong position I’d need more information , love the feedback interesting case 👍
