You said that if you use black and gray, you get more of a buffalo plaid. Isn't this pink design also considered a buffalo plaid? What's the difference, please?

The difference between plaids and checks lies in these repeating patterns. Checks are two colors and have the same stripe pattern in the warp and the weft. The finished cloth is always symmetrical. Plaids have more than two colors and more variety in their stripe layouts. Buffalo plaid is a plaid pattern with large blocks created by the intersection of two different-colored yarns, typically red and black

Inkjets are little bit the same as regular DTF printer. Inkjet use CYMK ink while DTF use CYMK+W ink. The adhesive (rubber) that makes the print feel sticky.

Your original printing looks like you didn't reverse your image but now it's reverse. Did i miss something?

This design is retro and supposed to look like that. I ordinarily would have printed with my sublimation printer but wanted to try the hack of printing with regular ink jet I wouldn’t recommend it. Only if using the shirt for a onetime wear

Not this printer because this was just regular ink jet ink. My other epson I put sublimation ink in it and I have been using that one for 4 years with no issues

Would the white color of the image on the transfer paper show on the darker shirt, especially black? Because the inkjet printer does not use white ink, Also, how does it hold after washing it several times?

No, it will not show up white and in general not on a dark shirt. It does not hold up with washing when using regular ink jet printer It does hold up when you print it using a sublimation printer but still must be on a light colored shirt

Then what is the point of doing all this? Nothing holds , nothing stays on it washes off nothing shows on dark shirts? If you don’t have a professional DTS printer engineered to do this all these hacks are pointless, Appreciate you doing the test though

I hovered my heat press but just don’t touch the image with it Just hover until the powder melts Takes about 2 minutes Sometimes I use my heat gun

You have to buy the nicer hooks like online not Amazon, Hobby Lobby or Michael’s and make sure to hold tight one end while turning. Mine break from time to time also.

Hey, so for this one I used regular ink jet ink and would be fine for a shirt you are only going to wear once or twice like a birthday. I have another video that I use sublimation ink and that is fine and stays on well

I have gozey premium DTF transfer film but when I tryed doing it with my inkjet printer and I pressed it on it did not work

For this particular project I used a normal Ecotank printer I would only do this for items that will be worn a couple times.

Instead of the heat gun you can turn your heat press up to 385 degrees turn it upside down and put you sublimated paper on top of the heating platform for about 60 seconds just watch how quickly it cures your print to a rubber texture always make sure the powder is completely heated till your picture is dark then remove from heatEnjoy

Watching replay from Southeastern Va. 👋🏻 Temps here were cold midweek and I saw where we should be upper 70s some this week. Shirts are cute. I’m mostly an earring crafter but do a few other things in between. I appreciate the advice and encouragement on vendor shows. Tried my first ones last fall and got very discouraged. Lots to learn. You’re right though, meeting new people and learning are great benefits. I have to look up “freshies” as I’ve not heard of them.
