does it lift the full amount of weight or does it feel like half the amount of weight because of the pulleys?
@TheCarterHomeGym
@TheCarterHomeGym 2 күн бұрын
@@joshf99 It's a 1:1 pulley, however, since the pulley system is attached to a lever arm, it's not a true 1:1. It will be much heavier that 2:1, but a little lighter than 1:1.

I think it will create too much torque for the Isolator to handle. The weight needs to be closer to the unit. I just don't think it's worth it imo. Lmk how it goes bro.

Looking for a vest and this looks nice. I already have their 60lbs kettlebell. The thing i dont think dont like is that it has two loading pockets in back and 2 in front. That means i have to download it evenly all the time in front and back or it will feel akward. If i want 15lbs only that means i have to put one 5lbs plate on each side to even it out and a 5lbs plate in one pocket which wont be center since pockets split in two instead of having one bigger pocket olin the center:(
@TheCarterHomeGym

@@futbol1972 I load it unevenly sometimes from front to back and as long as it's close in weight, it's not too bad. You can really strap the vest on tight. I just didn't see the point in buying a different one when I already IM weights.

I have a question too, somewhat related to the topic. Do you have a basement below where the Levergym is located? I want to get this machine, but hate the idea of working out in a basement. Is it possible to put this on the ground level or the second floor, or is it just way too heavy? I know every home is different and some kind of architect would be the best person to ask, but just wanted to see if people tend to put machines like this or like power cages in a room on the first floor if they have a basement, or even on a second floor. My logic is that if I can have 10-20 people in a room for a gathering, then I shouldn't have an issue having weight plates and a lever gym that should weigh less.
